Cut to the chase

Enough of hit and miss. No more fooling around, Jesus is the only way. Trust in God!

1 Corinthians chapter 1 verses 24 and 25.
God has opened the eyes of those called to salvation, both Jews and Gentiles, to see that Christ is the mighty power of God to save them; Christ Himself is the center of God's wise plan for their salvation. This so-called "foolish" plan of God is far wiser that the wisest plan of the wisest man, and God in His weakness---Christ dying on the cross---is far stronger than any man.

What is it that you are supposed to be doing? Do you even have any idea of what it is? Or are you so wrapped up in financial troubles or lost to the attitudes of others that your mind is jumping from one scenario to another. Where is the answer you are looking for?
I can tell you that all the answers to everything in your life lie with Christ but you would still be wrapped up in the moment. Our thoughts haunt us. Our wants and desires make us restless. They can cause us sleepless nights which lead to being easily irritated. Words may get spoken that are uncalled for. We may look in crazy places for our answers, which in turn may cause us more grief.
1 Corinthians continues to say, "For it is from God alone that you have your life through Christ Jesus. He showed us God's plan of salvation; He is the one who made us acceptable to God; He made us pure and Holy and gave Himself to purchase our salvation."
In a world that makes us struggle there is hope and a life that can make us smile and have peace.        1 Corinthians chapter 1 verse 7 says, "Now you have every grace and blessing; every spiritual gift and power for doing His will are yours during this time of waiting for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ."
No matter what it is that you are so desperately seeking, God can give it to you through Christ. You just need to see Him and talk with Him and trust in Him. He has already given you life so why not give Him your full attention, trusting that He is going to care for you and provide all you need. That does not mean you can sit back and think everything comes to you easily. Jesus suffered and so will you.
God's plan is for you! It is for you to be thankful to Him. It is for you to stand out as His. All around us are people who may not see Christ as you do. Maybe they have not been touched by Christ as you have. Their lives are different from yours and their struggles affect them differently then they did you. To talk about Christ is good. To listen to others and what they are all about is Christ working through you.
Christ will give you the right words to speak. He will show you the right path to take as long as you are willing to get up and try. He is with you if you ask Him to be. In Philippians chapter 3 we find the apostle Paul opening up about His love for Christ. He says, "All these things that I once thought very worthwhile---now I have thrown them all away so that I can put my trust and hope in Christ alone."
1 Corinthians chapter 13 verses 9 and 10 say, "We know so little, even with our special gifts and the preaching of those most gifted is still poor. But when we have been made perfect and complete, then the need for these inadequate special gifts will come to an end, and they will disappear."
We may know Christ and have Him with us but we are not meant to be boastful, forceful or think of ourselves as better than others. We are God's children, blessed with salvation through Christ and by the grace of God we are filled with His Holy Spirit who's goal is for us to love God and others.
We will never know how powerful God is but we can be happy with what He gives us and no matter what our challenges are, He is right there with you. Doing for you what He does best and that is to put a smile upon your face and bring peace to your life.
Just like a child looking out a window in wonder, waiting for the rain to stop and the sun to come out, we long for the excitement of exploring. The world is exciting and can easily pull us in the wrong direction, we can find riches or poverty, we can find peace or sadness and grief. We can be anxious and restless wanting change and being guided by our thoughts and dreams.
God wants the very best for you, but to have that you need to be at peace and happy in the life you have. God gives you a beautiful home, your home with Jesus. He provides all you need. You are richer than you think. Your gift is that of Jesus and being filled with His Holy Spirit in a world where you walk with God trusting in Him for everything.
After all; It is His world and He has opened your eyes to see the truth of what He has created for you to enjoy. 1 Timothy chapter 6 verse 6 says, "Do you want to be truly rich? You already are if you are happy and good. After all, we did not bring any money with us when we came into the world, and we cannot carry away a single penny when we die."
1 Timothy chapter 6 goes on to explain how people who long to be rich will do all sorts of wrong things to get money. Things that can hurt them and end up making them bitter and angry. We are to run from these desires and work instead at what is right and good, learning to trust Jesus and love others, and to be patient and gentle. Fight on for God. Hold tightly to the eternal life which God has given you.
Thank You Father for Jesus. Thank You for hearing my broken prayer. Thank You for revealing what I could not see or understand. 😊

James chapter 1 verses 12-21.
Happy is the man who does not give in and do wrong when he is tempted, for afterwards he will get as his reward the crown of life that God has promised those who love Him. And remember, when someone wants to do wrong it is never God who is tempting him, for God never wants us to do wrong and never tempts anyone else to do it. Temptation is the pull of man's own evil thoughts and wishes. These evil thoughts lead to evil actions and afterwards to the death penalty from God. So do not be misled. But whatever is good and perfect comes to us from God, the Creator of all light and He shines forever without change or shadow. And it was a happy day for Him when He gave us our new lives, through the truth of His Word, and we became as it were, the first children in His new family. Do not ever forget that it is best to listen much, speak little, and become angry; for anger does not make us good, as God demands that we must be. So get rid of all that is wrong in your life, both inside and outside, and humbly be glad for the wonderful message we have received, for it is able to save our souls as it takes hold of our hearts.
