God's message.
So much to carry. It is your story. Tell others so that they too can have their own story about life with God.
2 Peter chapter 1 verses 20 and 21.
For no prophecy recorded in Scripture was ever thought up by the prophet himself. It was the Holy Spirit within these godly men who gave them true messages from God.
They are godly men. That means they believe that Christ is our Savior, sent by God, to tell us about God's love and how we have a place in life with Him. They believe that Christ gave His life so that we can have life.
Mark chapter 15 says, "Then Jesus uttered another loud cry, and dismissed His spirit. And the curtain in the Temple was spilt apart from top to bottom." (The curtain was a heavy veil hung in front of the room in the Temple called "The Holy of Hollies," a place reserved by God for Himself; the veil separated Him from sinful mankind. Now this veil was spilt from above, showing that Christ's death, for man's sin, had opened up access to the Holy God.)
The tearing of the curtain represents the boundary that we have put up between God and us. And now, that the curtain has been taken down, we are invited to come before God with Christ, so that we can find our place in life with Him.
What is it you are looking for? Is it a quick fix for your troubles? Your worries and concerns are consuming all your time, interrupting you from the things you want. Why not try God? Look how happy His followers are!
What God has done is bless the lives of those who He knows are His children.
Romans chapter 5 says, "And since, when we were His enemies, we were brought back to God by the death of His Son, what blessings He must have for us now that we are His friends, and He is living within us."
It is our story that is God's message to others.
2 Corinthians chapter 5 says, "When someone becomes a new Christian he becomes a brand new person inside. He is not the same any more. A new life has begun!
To become a Christ follower, you will need to know God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. That means you will have to interact with them and that will lead you to interacting with other believers.
The message God has is your story. Now tell others your story, so that they also may find happiness and peace in life with Him.
Titus chapter 2 says, "Jesus died under God's judgement against our sins, so that He could rescue us from constant falling into sin and make us His very own people, with cleansed hearts and real enthusiasm for doing kind things for others. You must teach these things and encourage your people to do them, correcting them when necessary as one who has every right to do so. Do not let anyone think that what you say is not important."
You cannot change the fact that God has done amazing things for you and that He continues to be there with you so that your thoughts are on Him and you are His example of being His child.
In Galatians chapter 5 the apostle Paul tells us that we should only obey the Holy Spirit's instructions. He will tell you where to go and what to do, and then you will not always be doing the wrong things your evil nature wants you to.
And in Ephesians chapter 2 the apostle Paul says, "And now God can always point to us as examples of how very, very rich His kindness is, as shown in all He has done for us through Jesus Christ."
Thank You Father for Jesus. Thank You for the joyful story of our lives, for we would not have one if it were not for You. 😊
Ephesians chapter 2 verse 10.
It is God Himself who has made us what we are and given us new lives from Christ Jesus; and long ages ago He planned that we should spend these lives in helping others.
Ecclesiastes chapter 5 verses 19 and 20.
Of course, it is very good if a man has received wealth from the Lord, and the good health to enjoy it. To enjoy your work and to accept your lot in life---that is indeed a gift from God. The person who does that will not need to look back with sorrow on his past, for God gives him joy.
2 Timothy chapter 3 verses 16 and 17.
The whole Bible was given to us by inspiration from God and it is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives; it straightens us out and helps us do right. It is God's way of making us well prepared at every point, fully equipped to do good to everyone.
Thank you Sir
