Unaware.

Good memories bring us joy. Let Jesus bring the love of God into your life. A joy that never goes away.

Hebrews chapter 9 verses 24-26.
For Christ has entered into heaven itself, to appear now before God on our behalf. It was not in the earthly place of worship that He did this, for it was merely a copy of the real temple in heaven. Nor has He offered Himself again and again, as the high priest down here on earth offers animal blood in the Holies of Holies each year. If that had been necessary, then He would have had to die again and again, ever since the world began. But no! He came once for all, at the end of the age, to put away the power of sin forever by dying for us.

Hebrews chapter 9 talks about the first agreement between God and His people. There were rules to be followed so that people could have favor with God by sacrificing certain animals. People would bring the animals to the sacred tent where the priests would take them and then present the sacrificed animal to God so they would feel that their sacrifice was sufficient enough to receive God's forgiveness upon them.
That was the old agreement. It did not really work that well because sacrificing the blood of animals was only a gift required by God from the people for the repentance of their sins. Of course people continued to sin and therefore the sacrifice really did not mean anything. God's new plan was the once and for all sacrifice of His Son. It is through the blood of Christ that God's grace and mercies are given to all people who turn to Him and see Him as their heavenly Father.
Job chapter 1 verses 20 and 21 say, "Then Job stood up and tore His robe in grief and fell down upon the ground before God. I came naked from my mother's womb, he said, and I shall have nothing when I die. The Lord gave me everything I had, and they were His to take away. Blessed be the name of the Lord."
Have you come to the point where you would like to talk with God? Are you fed up, maybe confused about your circumstances? Jesus died so that we could be set free from our haunts. All that stuff that you accumulated over the years is not really yours. You may think that it is, and you have every right to claim it as yours, you worked hard to get what you have, but circumstances have taken the joy out of life.
Maybe failing health, maybe soured relationships, maybe financial woes, whatever your reasons are, you have become bitter and confused. No one wants to hear your complaints. As you talk about your problems, they interrupt with their own.
In Matthew chapter 6 verses 19-21 Jesus told them, "Do not store up treasures here on earth where they can erode away or may be stolen. Store them in heaven where they will never lose their value, and are safe from thieves. If your profits are in heaven your heart will be there too."
I read today that if we are not looking for hope then we will not see it. In Nehemiah chapter 8, the words of the bible were read and the people who heard them realized how badly they had acted. They were told, "It's time to celebrate with a hearty meal, and to give presents to those in need, for the joy of the Lord is your strength. You must not be dejected and sad!" So the people went away to eat a festive meal and to send presents; it was a time of great celebration because they could hear and understand God's words.
You are God's child, His representative here on earth. The more you realize this the more you will know His love for you and the more others will know your joy for Jesus. It's not that hard to understand. You have lived so long in life without anyone really caring for you and how you feel. You struggle with your issues when you don't have to. God has given us Jesus. He is the Messiah, our Savior. He is God with us.
Ephesians chapter 3 verse 20 says, "Now glory be to God who by His mighty power at work within us is able to do far more than we would ever dare to ask or even dream of---infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, or hopes."
Wow! The only way you will know God's love for you, is for you to talk to Him and find out the direction He wants you to go. And that begins a whole new journey for you. A journey that you never thought possible but has started and is real.
You thought you knew everything or at least most stuff. You may have heard about Jesus and like a lot of people never thought that His path was the path for you. Now you think differently. God's joy explodes inside you and does not stop coming. You really truly have begun a new journey, one far away from the life you once had.
Thank you Father for Jesus. Thank You for Your grace and mercy. We are aware of You, help us to see our way. 😊

Ephesians chapter 4 verses 2 and 3.
Be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other's faults because of your love. Try always to be led along by the Holy Spirit, and so be at peace with one another.

1 Thessalonians chapter 5 verses 15-18.
See that no one pays back evil for evil, but always try to do good to each other and to everyone else. Always be joyful. Always keep on praying. No matter what happens, always be thankful, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ.

Psalms chapter 80 verse 19.
Turn us again to Yourself, O God of the armies of heaven. Look down on us, Your face aglow with joy and love---only then shall we be saved.
