Let Him in!

What is it that grabs your heart and makes you soften to it's warmth? The love of Jesus can show you.

2 Chronicles chapter 15 verse 9.
For the eyes of the Lord search back and forth across the whole earth, looking for people whose hearts are perfect toward Him, so that He can show His great power in helping them. What a fool you have been! From now on you shall have wars.

You are the one who is in need of help! Not God and He is not the one to blame for your situation. He is the one who is offering you something completely different. You will need to trust in Him. He is not going to just help you, you will have to show change and belief that it is God who is doing this for you.
I do not mean, you get that one issue, you are dealing with fixed and then look to Him when another problem comes along. No, He is not some kind of bail out guy. He is real and He is the one offering to you this wonderful opportunity. The verse above says, "He is the one searching the world for those who He knows will have the kind of heart that will see who He is and worship Him for what He stands for."
He is looking for those who will, stand out as His so that others will see the change and the wonderful joy in their lives and maybe take a look His way too. First it starts with you. You may wonder why it took so many years for Him to put the thought of looking His way into your life but He knew the right timing and He has presented Himself to you now.
Your life was without Him in it. You were once someone who got along with others and fit in with the gang and all it's ways. You thought it was normal to go day to day blindly trying so hard to know love and joy. Lot's of times you became critical of what others said or how they acted. You yourself were very opinionated and protective of who you knew and how they fit into your life.
Something has happened. Something you never thought of before and have decided to give a try. You are going to talk to God. It may seem silly at first but your words become serious and filled with grief, resentment, worry and maybe even anger. Have your words gone unheard? You resign to believing that you gave it a try. Tomorrow is another day and you sleep it off and face what tomorrow will bring, just like all the other day's that have gone by.
However, something does happen. Was it the next day? Or was it a few days latter. It does not matter. You have realized that your words did not go unheard. You smile and feel thankful.
In John chapter 12, Jesus has come to Jerusalem to attend the Passover. Verses 23-25 say that Jesus told them that the time had come for Him to return to His glory in heaven, and that "I must fall and die like a kernel of wheat that falls into the furrows of the earth. Unless I die I will be alone---a single seed. But My death will produce many new wheat kernels---a plentiful harvest of new lives. If you despise your life down here---you will exchange it for eternal glory."
You are part of His beautiful harvest and you get to sway in the wind and enjoy the life you have, all because He gave His life for you. Do not live half in or half out. We worry about way to many things. Death is going to happen, there will be sadness and sorrow, there will be another day. God has given you eternal glory to help you understand your place in this world. Your place with Him.
Jesus did some pretty amazing miracles, and now He has done another amazing miracle in you. Proverbs chapter 1 verses 7-9 say, "How does a man become wise? The first step is to trust and reverence the Lord! Only fools refuse to be taught. Listen to your father and mother. What you learn from them will stand you in good stead; it will gain you many honors."
It takes a lot to trust in the promises of God. Especially when it comes to believing that your life can be at peace and filled with joy. The only way you will know is for you to seek Him out and believe in His touch upon your life.
Romans chapter 6 verses 6 and 7 say, "Your old sin-loving nature was buried with Him by baptism when He died, and when God the Father, with glorious power, brought Him back to life again, you were given His wonderful new life to enjoy. For you have become a part of Him, and so you died with Him, so to speak, when He died, and now you share His new life, and shall rise as He did."
Wow, our issues and problems all put behind us as we step out of controlling everything and let God do through Jesus the miracle of healing. You deserve to sing praise and to feel happy. You deserve to know that God offers eternal life and that you get to live in His house filled with all the beauty of His created world for you.
You are the one who has decided to talk with God. Hope is in your heart. The need for change has to happen, a miracle is needed. He hears you and responds. Jesus has made it possible and He is now at your door. The reason He is there is He knows your intentions and want to help. He knows your gratitude and the love you have for Him.
Thank You Father for Jesus. Thank You for showing Yourself to those who will listen. The reward is joy! 😊

Matthew chapter 5 verses 14-16.
You are the world's light---a city on a hill, glowing for all to see. Do not hide your light! Let it shine for all; let your good deeds glow for all to see, so that they will praise your heavenly Father.

1 Peter chapter 2 verses 9-11.
You are not like that, for you have been chosen by God Himself---you are priests of the King, you are holy and pure, you are God's very own---all this so that you may show to others how God called you out of the darkness into His wonderful light. Once you were less than nothing; now you are God's own. Once you knew very little of God's kindness; now your very lives have been changed by it. Dear brothers, you are only visitors here. Since your real home is in heaven I beg you to keep away from the evil pleasures of this world; they are not for you, for they fight against your very souls.

1 Timothy chapter 1 verse 14.
Oh, how kind our Lord was, for He showed me how to trust Him, and become full of the love of Christ Jesus.
