Steady on!

You may think that all is good and that you have it all in control. Thank God for Jesus, He is our saving grace and place of forever peace.

Galatians chapter 5 verses 14-16.
Love others as you love yourself. But if instead of showing love among yourselves you are always critical and catty, watch out! Beware of ruining each other. I advise you to obey the Holy Spirit's instructions. He will tell you where to go and what to do, and then you will not always be doing the wrong things your evil nature wants you to.

Everyday your eyes open and you have to deal with your thoughts. Maybe your thoughts gave you a restless sleep, filled with wonder, confusion and worry. Maybe your thoughts were of a dream, either a strange one or something that felt real. Maybe you awoke giving thanks to God for your sleep and now you are heading off to read the bible and learn something new from the scriptures.
The mind does not stop putting ideas and suggestions out to you. There are good thoughts to have and there are thoughts that are planning and scheming, playing with our desires through temptation. The good thoughts may be the designing of a plan that is going to help you or others. Bad thoughts usually lead us along confusing paths with no real direction.
I like Ecclesiastes chapter 3 verses 9-13, "What does one really get from hard work? I have thought about this in connection with all the various kinds of work God has given to mankind. Everything is appropriate in its own time. But though God has planted eternity in the hearts of men, even so, man cannot see the whole scope of God's work from beginning to end. So I conclude that, first, there is nothing better for a man than to be happy and to enjoy himself as long as he can; and second, that he should eat and drink and enjoy the fruits of his labors, for these are gifts from God."
If you live with God in your life then you are someone who sees God's power and understand His purpose for us. God is the Creator of everything. He gave life to your body and by His grace we can have life with Jesus, where we see God as our heavenly Father, who watches over us with love.
Troubles still come, temptations still happen, the desires do not stop. Thank God for Jesus. God see's us through our issues and is with us in our successes. He is the only one who is going to give you what you are looking for. You can do things as you see fit or you can trust in God, just as Jesus did. And as Jesus did, talk to God, ask for His help and expect His help.
Hebrews chapter 12 talks about God watching over His children. Verse 9 asks the question, "Since we respect our fathers here on earth, though they punish us, should we not all the more cheerfully submit to God's training so that we can really begin to live?" In order to learn we fist need to show interest. We can try something out and test it to see if it is for us or not, but why would you not want to try something out that offers life to it's fullest? Test it, talk to Him sincerely.
James chapter 1 says, "If you want to know what God wants you to do, ask Him, and He will gladly tell you, for He is always ready to give a bountiful supply of wisdom to all who ask Him; He will not resent it. But when you ask Him, be sure that you really expect to tell you, for a doubtful mind will be as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind; and every decision you then make will be uncertain, as you turn first this way and then that. If you do not ask with faith; do not expect the Lord to give you any solid answer."
Remember you are the one coming before God asking Him for His help. You first need to recognize Him as all powerful and being the one who wants to help you. He knows all about you, so if you are hesitant, nervous and apprehensive, that is ok, for you have come to the point of talking to Him, believing that maybe He can help you. And He will. Use the Scriptures to strengthen your faith and watch for what happens in your day to day living.
Your thankful heart that is filled with joy will be the thanks that God see's. The same joy that Jesus has, as you come into a life with God. Philippians chapter 4 verses 4-7 say, "Always be full of joy in the Lord; I say it again, rejoice! Let everyone see that you are unselfish and considerate in all you do. Remember that the Lord is coming soon. Do not worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs and do not forget to thank him for His answers. If you do this you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus.
Steady on now. The trials are meant to test our faith, and put pressure upon us, but you are God's child, living with Jesus in the presence of God, filled with His Holy Spirit. So push out any wrong thoughts and trust in God to see you through.
1 Peter chapter 1 verses 7 and 8 say, "These trials are only to test your faith, to see whether or not it is strong and pure. It is being tested as fire tests gold and purifies it---and your faith is far more precious to God than mere gold; so if your faith remains strong after being tried in the test tube of fiery trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day of His return. You love Him even though you have never seen Him; though not seeing Him, you trust Him; and even now you are happy with the inexpressible joy that comes from heaven itself. And your further reward for trusting Him will be the  salvation of your souls."
Thank you Father for Jesus. Thank you for the joy of knowing that You are there with us. 😊

1 Thessalonians chapter 5 verse 16-18.
Always be joyful. Always keep on praying. No matter what happens, always be thankful, for this is God's will for you, who belong to Christ Jesus.

Matthew chapter 6 verse 33.
And He will give them to you if you give Him first place in your life and we live as He wants us to.

Hebrews chapter 12 verses 11-14.
Being punished is not enjoyable while it is happening---it hurts! But afterwards we can see the result, a quiet growth in grace and character. So take a new grip with your tired hands, stand firm on your shaky legs, and mark out a straight smooth path for your feet so that those who follow you, though weak and lame, will not fall and hurt themselves, but become strong.
