New Beginnings.

Here is something to think about! "What is that you say? Is Jesus what I need? Look!, Oh I see! Wow!"

Isaiah chapter 55 verses 6-9.
Seek the Lord while you can find Him. Call upon Him now while He is near. Let men cast off their wicked deeds; let them banish from their minds the very thought of doing wrong! Let them turn to the Lord that He may have mercy upon them and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon! This plan of mine is not what you would work out, neither are My thoughts the same as yours! For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than yours, and My thoughts than yours.

You are here now and you are seeking after the Lord. This may be new territory to you or maybe you have already been doing this for quite some time. The thing is you want something from God and are looking for His help.
Have you ever wondered if He is listening? Even seasoned Christians wonder why troubles come upon us, but they know not to give up for God will never leave us or forsake us. Hebrews chapter 13 verses 5 and 6 say, "Stay away from the love of money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, "I will never, never fail you nor forsake you." That is why we can say without any doubt or fear, "The Lord is my Helper and I am not afraid of anything that mere man can do to me."
It is the things of this world that can bind us and leave us feeling tied up, helpless. We are not alone in dealing with whatever it is that consumes our thoughts. Our time here is valuable, we are meant to enjoy the time that we are here on earth. We are not meant to be confused or lonely. We are meant to realize that this world is God's creation, including you. He is the one who formed you. A seed was planted but it was God who developed it into you. (Psalms chapter 139)
If you can take the time to tell God how you feel, then you can be assured that He is listening. It's a great feeling to know that we are not alone in this world but are here because of God's love for us. He loves our praises and to hear our worship to Him. Ephesians chapter 5 verses 19 and 20 say, "Talk with each other much about the Lord, quoting psalms and hymns and singing sacred songs, making music in your hearts to the Lord. Always give thanks for everything to our God and Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."
Have a joyful heart. It would be nice if we could be like that all the time, but every day we are tempted and challenged. Our desires and emotions try their hardest to control our will power. Jesus put God first in His life. He prayed all the time, talking with God about everything.
In John chapter 11 we find Jesus standing before the tomb of Lazarus. Jesus told them to roll the stone covering the grave aside. Martha, the dead mans sister said, "By now the smell will be terrible, for he has been dead four days." His reply was, "Didn't I tell you that you will see a wonderful miracle from God if you believe?" So they rolled the stone aside. Then Jesus looked up to heaven and said, "Father, thank You for hearing Me. (You always hear Me, of course, but I said it because of all these people standing here, so that they will believe You sent Me.)
Even in the toughest of times we are to talk with God. He is there with you because you are His child. It is your praise to Him that He loves to hear. And it is your reflection of His love upon you that He wants others to see.
In Joshua chapter 1, God spoke with Moses' assistant Joshua saying, " Constantly remind the people about these laws, and you yourself must think about them every day and every night so that you will be sure to obey all of them. For only then will you succeed. Yes, be bold and strong! Banish fear and doubt! For remember, the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."
New beginnings start with following a new path. Keep focused and don't be distracted from the new path upon which you are following. Hold closely to the Bible. Read the Scriptures and get to know them. Talk with others about God and let out your joy to those who will listen. Sing songs of praise and worship with others the word of the Lord.
We are to give God first place in our daily living and He will see you succeed in all you do. In Mark chapter 8 Jesus said, If any of you want to be My follower," He told them, "you must put aside your own pleasures and shoulder your cross, and follow Me closely. If you insist on saving your life, you will lose it. Only those who throw away their lives for My sake and for the sake of the Good news will ever know what it means to really live."
Thank You Father for Jesus. Thank You for new beginnings. Something that was needed at just the right time and turned out to be the one thing that has always been there, but I never paid attention to. 😊

1 Chronicles chapter 28 verses 9 and 10.
Solomon, my son, get to know the God of your fathers. Worship and serve Him with a clean heart and a willing mind, for the Lord sees every heart and understands and knows every thought. If you seek Him, you will find Him.

John chapter 1 verse 14.
Christ became a human being and lived here on earth among us and was full of loving forgiveness and truth.

Hebrews chapter 13 verses 5 and 6.
Stay away from the love of money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, "I will never, never fail you nor forsake you." That is why we can say without any doubt or fear, "The Lord is my Helper and I am not afraid of anything that mere man can do to me."

Jeremiah chapter 29 verses 11-13.
For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray I will listen. You will find Me when you seek Me, if you look for Me in earnest.
