Doubts!

It's ok to ask questions, for the answers you seek may lie in you trusting Jesus.

Hebrews chapter 10 verse 26.
If anyone sins deliberately by rejecting the Savior after knowing the truth of forgiveness, this sin is not covered by Christ's death, there is no way to get rid of it.

I'm not big on using the word sin. It makes us sound evil. Now evil does exist in this world but most people are not so bad. They don't go around trying to think of ways to do evil things. People like to socialize, but they do not take to kindly to rejection or confrontation.
Are you someone who feels they have to be a strong presence around others? Are you the leader or the servant? When you talk about God, Jesus or the Holy Spirit, do you see interest from others? Or do they change the subject? Maybe they tell you they are not into God or maybe you realize that it is not the right time or the right audience to speak about such things.
The subject of God can be an easy one to talk about with those who believe as you do. It is a little more difficult to bring up the subject when there is other things occupying the thoughts. Addictions, sadness and anger fill our thoughts and consume our energy. People also like the feeling of contentment. The place where everything is going great and for a moment the pressures of worry, anxiety and judgement are taking a break.
Ephesians chapter 5 verses 15-20 say, "So be careful how you act; these are difficult days. Do not be fools; be wise make the most of every opportunity you have for doing good. Don't act thoughtlessly, but try to find out and do whatever the Lord wants you to. Don't drink too much wine, for many evils lie along that path; be filled instead with the Holy Spirit, and controlled by Him. Talk with each other much about the Lord, quoting psalms and hymns and singing sacred songs, making music in your hearts to the Lord. Always give thanks for everything to our God and Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."
That's alright for you to do when you are around those who enjoy the same things. Sometimes the opportunity arises when you can talk about God and maybe get the interest of someone who needs encouragement. In my readings today it talked about how the Holy Spirit is not negative in any way. Even when He speaks to us about a problem, He speaks to bring a solution. And when He speaks to us about difficult situations, He does so to bring us comfort and strength.
The more we talk and think about our problems the weaker we become, but we are strengthened as we talk and think about Jesus and His promises to us. So at what point in life are you going to put aside trying so hard to control all that goes on around you and let Jesus take the wheel. Give your life over to Him, He wants you too. All your burdens, all your anxieties and worries. He wants every part of who you are, so that you will see clearly that He is the one you have been missing.
Deuteronomy chapter 30 verses 19 and 20 say, "I call heaven and earth to witness against you that today I have set before you life or death, blessing or curse. Oh, that you would choose life; that you and your children might live! Choose to love the Lord your God and obey Him and to cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days."
What is it that you are clinging on to? There is no need to be stubborn. It's ok to want peace and happiness. We are not here for very long so why not be at peace with the world around you. Boy, it is so much easier to say then to live out. It's easy to get caught up in the world of greed, wants and desires. It will lead to troubles, confusion and the want to go back to a time when life was easier for you. You know that is not possible for once something has been done it cannot be undone. A person can be healed from addictions and it is possible to climb out of debt, but it is extremely hard to convince yourself that what seems impossible is possible.
1 Corinthians chapter 2 verses 11-16 talks about the Holy Spirit which God gives to those who seek after Him. It says, "No one can really know what anyone else is thinking, or what he is really like, except the person himself. And no one can know God's thoughts except God's own Spirit. And God has actually given us His Spirit (not the world's spirit) to tell us about the wonderful free gifts of grace and blessing that God has given us.
The story of Moses in Exodus talks about a man who was respected and then rejected. God came to him and asked him to do the impossible. God's reply in Exodus chapter 3 verse 12 was "I will certainly be with you, and this is the proof that I am the one who is sending you: When you have led the people out of Egypt, you shall worship God here upon this mountain!"
God was with Moses just as He can be with you. Trust has to be earned, but to earn trust you must first believe that it is possible. God's promise to us is Jesus and through Him we all can have a life that is filled with only light burdens.
Thank You Father for Jesus. Thank You for taking our doubts about You away. There is no other way than a life filled with Jesus. 😊

Hebrews chapter 10 verses 38 and 39.
And those whose faith has made them good in God's sight must live by faith, trusting Him in everything. Otherwise, if they shrink back, God will have no pleasure in them. But we have never turned our backs on God and sealed our fate. No, our faith in Him assures our soul's salvation.

Ephesians chapter 2 verses 4-7.
But God is so rich in mercy; He loved us so much that even though we were spiritually dead and doomed by our sins, He gave us back our lives again when He raised Christ from the dead---only by His undeserved favor have we ever been saved---and lifted us up from the grave into glory along with Christ, where we sit with Him in the heavenly realms---all because of what Christ Jesus did. And now God can always point to us as examples of how very, very rich His kindness is, as shown in all He has done for us through Jesus Christ.

John chapter 3 verses 16 and 17.
For God so loves the world that He gave His only Son so that anyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. God did not send His Son into this world to condemn it but to save it.
