Trust

You totally trust where you are being led until you find out it is not what you expected. God's promises are true and Jesus will lead you as you trust in Him.

Hebrews chapter 10 verses 35-39.
Do not let this happy trust in the Lord die away, no matter what happens. Remember your reward! You need to keep on patiently doing God's will if you want Him to do for you all that He has promised. His coming will not be delayed much longer. And those whose faith has made them good in God's sight must live by faith, trusting Him in everything. Otherwise, if they shrink back, God will have no pleasure in them.

How much closer to God do you want to feel? Do you feel that you are not receiving all that you could be from God? You love God, you believe in Jesus and you know the Holy Spirit is with you. So why is it that you still think that you are not living up to His expectations?
At every turn we are challenged with thoughts that try their best to lead us away from our faith in God. And it is by faith only that we do trust in God in everything we do. Not just some things or on a Sunday while at church, no God has proven Himself over and over to us, yet we still are uneasy.
Anxieties, worry and the 'what if's' play havoc with our thoughts. War and famine leave us doing for ourselves whatever is necessary to survive. Sickness and death can leave us confused.
No wonder we wander in lost directions, seeking peace wherever we can find it. God has given us Jesus and it is by His blood that we are washed white as snow. Our sins have been forgiven and God has placed His Holy Spirit so that we may know the joy and love He feels for us.
God has placed Jesus there for us to call upon. Through Him we can suppress our worries, trusting God to be our guide in the many challenges we face. We can be patient and trust that He will guide us in the right direction. We can turn our backs on temptations and desires knowing that we are living a life that is pleasing Him and that by trusting in Him we show Him we are His children.
We are forced to live in a broken world. There are those who dominate and need to control and there are those who struggle with getting by. Where do you fit in? And how do you see your future?
Maybe you live to get your next high. Maybe you live for greed. Maybe you live in seclusion controlled by fear and worry. Maybe your sick and hospitals, with their treatments, is what you see. Maybe aging bones have left you weary. Maybe you feel depressed worn down by sadness. Where do you see God in all of this?
Maybe your world has never known of God or maybe you choose not to look His way. God is almighty and merciful. The only way for you to know God is to involve Him in your life. How would you feel if you were told that God knows your every thought and can see your every move? Do you feel invaded and violated or do you feel content and at peace knowing that the all powerful almighty God Creator of all you see and touch is watching over you.
You cannot get a better offer to trust in. You are either on your own fending for yourself or you are living in the presence of God who can see the future, who knows the paths in which you will take and is there to support you with the knowledge, wisdom and understanding you need to give you a peaceful life. I choose to live by faith, trusting in God's proven promises through Jesus.
Thank You Father for Jesus. Thank You for Your Holy Spirit, our overflowing joy of happiness and gratitude to You! 😊

Malachi chapter 3 verses 13-16.
"Your attitude toward Me has been proud and arrogant," says the Lord. But you say, "What do You mean? What have we said that we shouldn't?"
"Listen; you have said, "It is foolish to worship God and obey Him. What good does it do to obey His laws, and to sorrow and mourn for our sins? From now on, as far as we are concerned, "Blessed are the arrogant." For those who do evil shall prosper, and those who dare God to punish them shall get off scott-free."
Then those who feared and loved the Lord spoke often of Him to each other. And He had a Book of Remembrance drawn up in which He recorded the names of those who feared Him and loved to think about Him.

Ephesians chapter 3 verses 8-12.
Just think! Though I did nothing to deserve it, and though I am the most useless Christian there is , yet I was the one chosen for this special joy of telling the Gentiles the Glad News of the endless treasures available to them in Christ; and to explain to everyone that God is the Savior of the Gentiles too, just as He who made all things had secretly planned from the very beginning. And His reason? To show to all the rulers in heaven how perfectly wise He is when all of His family---Jews and Gentiles alike---are seen to be joined together in His church, in just the way He had always planned it through Jesus Christ our Lord. Now we can come fearlessly right into God's presence, assured of His glad welcome when we come with Christ and trust in Him.

Galatians chapter 5 verses 25 and 26.
If we are living now by the Holy Spirit's power, let us follow the Holy Spirit's leading in every part of our lives. Then we will not need to look for honors and popularity, which lead to jealousy and hard feelings.
