What He did!

What Jesus did for all of us, has made it possible for you to have a life of peace, joy and happiness. Hold tightly to Him.

1 Peter chapter 1 verses 21 and 22.
Because of this, your trust can be in God who raised Christ from the dead and gave Him great glory. Now your faith and hope can rest in Him alone. Now you can have real love for everyone because your souls have been cleansed from selfishness and hatred when you trusted Christ to save you; so you see to it that you really do love each other warmly, with all your hearts.

1 Peter chapter 1 verses 19 and 20.
But God paid for you with the precious lifeblood of Christ, the sinless spotless Lamb of God. God chose Him for this purpose long before the world began, but only recently was He brought into public view, in these last days as a blessing to you.

Is it possible for you to see Christ as your Savior? 1 Peter chapter 1 verse 23 says, "For you have a new life. It was not passed onto you from your parents, for the life they gave you will fade away. This new one will last forever, for it comes from Christ, God's ever-lasting Message to men."
God has done something for you, that you would not think anyone would do. He sacrificed His Son. Jesus started telling everyone that He is the Son of God, yet even though He proved it over and over again through miracles that could only have come from God, people could not accept His statements as being God's Son. They thought that the Savior would end all famine and bring salvation from the Roman empire.
The bible tells us that God created man. And that He lived in paradise with God. God had warned him not to eat the fruit from the tree of Conscience---"for it will open your eyes to make you aware of right from wrong, good and bad. If you eat it's fruit, you will be doomed to die." (Genesis chapter 2 verses 16 and 17)
Adam did eat the fruit and was then banished from paradise, out into the world where he would have to learn how to survive. You are that same person. Adam was born into God's world of paradise, where he would have to grow and develop surrounded by temptation and desire's. Your world has given you choices and not every choice we make is a good one. God did not leave Adam but gave him what he needed to grow.
God promised Abraham and Sarah a child. He was 100 years old and she was ninety, way beyond their chid bearing years. Could it be possible for God to do as He promised? We know that it did happen. (Genesis chapter 17 and 21.)
Romans chapter 4 verses 18-25 say, "So, when God told Abraham that He would give him a son who would have many descendants and become a great nation, Abraham believed God even though such a promise just couldn't come to pass! And because his faith was strong, he did not worry about the fact that he was too old to be a father, at the age of one hundred, and that Sarah his wife, at ninety, was also much too old to have a baby. But Abraham never doubted. He believed God, for his faith and trust grew ever stronger, and he praised God for this blessing even before it happened. He was completely sure that God was well able to do anything He promised. And because of Abraham's faith God forgave his sins and declared him "not guilty." Now this wonderful statement---that he was accepted and approved through his faith---was not just for Abraham's benefit. It was for us, too, assuring us that God will accept us in the same way He accepted Abraham---when we believe the promises of God who brought back Jesus our Lord from the dead. He died for our sins and rose again to make us right with God, filling us with God's goodness."
We may be born into a world that is going to make us struggle, but because of God's promise to us through Jesus Christ we are not alone. God is our Creator and we can count on Him to guide us through life. Not everyone is able to live by faith but for those who can, what a wonderful peaceful life they have. They are content with trusting in God and His promises.
The thing about God is, He knows everything before it happens. He knows who will come to Him and live by faith believing that Jesus is God's Son and that He is God's plan for us. The only way we can have a peaceful life is by trusting in something other than ourselves. Once you come to God you will see for yourself that there is no other place to be. His promises are true. Jesus is our Savior and His Holy Spirit will fill you with a joy that is forever happiness.
We are not perfect and can be easily misguided. We believe what people tell us. Through common sense and life's experiences we can determine whether something is false or not, whether it is good or bad. But sometimes we get duped by smooth talking people and our own fears. Anxieties and worry can hold us down for many years.
In John chapter 10 verse 10 Jesus says, "The thief's purpose is to steal, kill and destroy. My purpose is to give life in it's fullness." The saving grace of God is available to everyone, all it takes is for you to reach out to Him in hope. The hope of His promise for a better life. Are you a broken person? Weighed down by years of disappointments? Where are you to turn when there seems to be no where else to look? Romans chapter 6 verse 25 says, "Thank God! It has been done by Jesus Christ our Lord. He has set me free."
I was so confused by disappointments and let downs. How long will life go on without peace and love? Change had to happen and the only place I thought of looking was to God. All other things would leave me disappointed again. I was not sure what would come of it but I wanted to try. So I prayed and read the bible. The result was walking away from alcohol and drugs. My friends did not hang around anymore and my trust in God was growing.
What God did was send Jesus. And through His healing power my life became faithful to Him. He will do the same for anyone who looks to Him believing that He can do as He promises.
Thank You Father for Jesus. Thank You for Your saving grace and mercies. The gift of Your Son, Jesus and to leave us filled with Your Holy Spirit. 😊

Romans chapter 8 verse 28 and 29.
And we know that all things come together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose. God knew from the beginning who would come to Him and become like His Son, so that His Son would be the first with many brothers.

Luke chapter 17 verse 20.
One day the Pharisees asked Jesus, "When will the Kingdom of God begin?" Jesus replied, "The Kingdom of God is not ushered in with visible signs. You will not be able to say, 'It has begun here in this place or there in that part of the country.' For the Kingdom of God is within you."

Luke chapter 7 verses 18-23.
The disciples of John the Baptist soon heard of all that Jesus was doing. When they told John about it, he sent two of his disciples to Jesus to ask Him, "Are You really the Messiah? Or shall we keep on looking for Him?" The two disciples found Jesus while He was curing many sick people of their various diseases----healing the lame and the blind and casting out evil spirits. When they asked Him John's question, this was His reply: "Go back to John and tell him all you have seen and heard here today: How those who were blind can see. The lame are walking without a limp. The lepers are completely healed. The deaf can hear again. The dead come back to life. And the poor are hearing the Good News. And tell him, 'Blessed is the one who does not lose faith in Me.' "
