Our home.

We are the happiest when we know where our place is. Keep your eyes of God and love the life you have with Him.

1 Thessalonians chapter 5 verses 19-24.
Do not smother the Holy Spirit. Do not scoff at those who prophesy, but test everything that is said to be sure it is true, and if it is, then accept it. Keep away from every kind of evil. May the God of peace Himself make you entirely pure and devoted to God; and may your spirit and soul and body be kept strong and blameless until that day when our Lord Jesus Christ comes back again. God, who called you to become His child, will do all this for you, just as He promised.

You are the one in control of how you act and the things you do. It would be nice if we did not do things that were uncomfortable, stupid or down right deliberate, but we do. I took a window screen out the other day and in order to get it out I had to manipulate it around the blinds hanger. It came out with ease. However when putting it back in, I realized that I was putting too much pressure on the frame, in order to get under the blinds hanger. Sure enough the frame bent. Why did I not stop when I felt that this could happen? That was my own will power saying it could go back in as easily as it came out.
Silly mistakes happen all the time, that is what makes us human. We have our own will power to choose. We easily get flustered, we worry about unnecessary things, anxiety has hit an all time high. Medication is used to help calm us, alcohol and drugs cause us to say things we do not mean. Sickness, paralyzing accidents and death happen adding to our already aging lives.
It sounds so horrible and there are a lot of people who just get along with what they have to deal with daily. They look forward to family time, bbq's and laughter. Our recreational time is what helps us cope with stress.  In the midst of turmoil and your secret thoughts, how do you find peace?
In John chapter 14 verses 15-17 Jesus tells us, "If you love Me, obey Me; and I will ask the Father and He will give you another Comforter, and He will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, the Spirit who leads into all truth. The world at large cannot receive Him, for it is not looking for Him and does not recognize Him. But you do, for He lives with you now and some day shall be in you."
The truth is we are not to have life without God being in it. And He has made that possible for all people through the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus. Jesus is our Savior. He is the one whom God sends to receive us and it is Jesus who leaves us with God's Holy Spirit. Our place of refuge, strength and peace.
Psalms chapter 127 says, "Unless the Lord builds a house, the builder's work is useless. Unless the Lord protects a city, sentries do no good. It is senseless for you to work so hard from early morning until late at night, fearing you will starve to death; for God wants His loved ones to get their proper rest." We are to start our day with God, work with Him through the day and then give Him praise for our day and ask Him for a restful, refreshing, rejuvenating nights sleep. Where once again we rise in the morning and spend time with Him in praise, seeking the guidance we need for the day ahead.
It is His Holy Spirit whom gives us the wisdom, knowledge and understanding to be successful. And when we are successful we are thankful to Him, knowing that we could have not done it without Him. The truth is we are God's children and He watches over us.
Being frustrated and having our minds filled with thoughts of worry, robs our peace and happiness. God does not want us to be that way. He wants us to brings our concerns to Him. He wants us to live with Him in everything we do so that He is always with us and we are trusting in His guidance, and protection. That way we are free to live in peace and happiness because of what God did for us through Jesus.
Galatians chapter 5 talks of the forces of evil and good. You can be grumpy and miserable getting by with the odd laughter, haze induced joy and false friends. Wouldn't you want to be clear minded and filled with an unending joy that only comes from trusting in God? He invites you to make your home with Him. In Matthew chapter 11 Jesus says, "Come to Me and I will give you rest---all of you who work so hard  beneath a heavy yoke. Wear My yoke---for it fits perfectly---let Me teach you; for I am gentle and humble, and you shall find rest for your souls; for I give you only light burdens."
This world is filled with people. People of all sorts living their lives as they see best. Getting through each day trying hard to get along and to not cause too much trouble. There are people who want to radically change things to suit their point of view, even if it causes troubles for others. But most people would rather enjoy the things this world offers and be at peace with their family and friends.
God wants us to realize that He is the one who Created the world. The home where we live and He Created us to live in His world. With all the worries and concerns that our lives are burdened with, He wants us to know He is always with us and will never leave us. You may be getting by in life but when you come to God and He shows you Jesus, then you will see the clearly the truth of God's Holy Spirit.
We have the best home ever, in God's house where we get to worship Him. Thanking Him for everything and all things. You are meant to live in the ultimate happiness and the Holy Spirit can give you that. Living under the watchful eye of God, filled with the joy of what Jesus has brought to you.
Thank You Father for Jesus. Thank You for Your love and the life You have given to us. 😊

Romans chapter 15 verses 1-3.
Even if we believe that it makes no difference to the Lord whether we do these things, still we cannot just go ahead and do them to please ourselves; for we must bear the "burden" of being considerate of the doubts and fears of others---of those who feel these things are wrong. Let's please the other fellow, not ourselves, and do what is for his good and thus build him up in the Lord. Christ did not please Himself.

Luke chapter 11 verse 13.
Jesus was talking about fathers and how they treat their children when He said,  "And even if sinful persons like yourselves give children what they need, don't you realize that your heavenly Father will do at least as much, and give the Holy Spirit to those who ask for Him?"

Luke chapter 11 verses 33-36.
No one lights a lamp and hides it! Instead, he puts it on a lampstand to give light to all who enter the room. Your eyes light up your inward being. A pure eye lets sunshine into your soul. A lustful eye shuts out the light and plunges you into darkness. So watch out that the sunshine is not blotted out. If you are filled with light within, with no dark corners, then your face will be radiant too, as though a floodlight is beamed upon you.
