Eternal glory.

The beauty is in the things we do and His glory that is all around us. Thank You Jesus!

2 Corinthians chapter 3 verse 11.
So if the old system that faded into nothing was full of heavenly glory, the glory of God's new plan for our salvation is certainly far greater, for it is eternal.

You made the choice to come to God seeking His help and you found a place you do not want to leave. Your cup of joy is overflowing. Why is that? What is it that He did for you that makes Him stand out as the place where you want to live forever. Never again being misled by your own desires but when temptation comes upon you, your thoughts know immediately right from wrong.
You once followed blindly the things you wanted to do, accepting the results as they came. You still do, but the difference is, you now have God to turn to. In fact you sense the issues before you make the mistakes giving you the upper hand of making a choice that is pleasing to God and leaving you full of praise to Him.  And even if you do continue to follow your own paths, you are feeling the guilt of taking the wrong path and knowing that you need to seek after Him, before you go too far.
Eternal glory is all about God being with you. He is where Jesus turned daily for guidance and understanding. You never had someone to talk with before, who loves and cares for you as much as God does and now you do. God is way more than your bills, your relational issues and even your failing health. He is the one who has shown you Jesus and how in the midst of daily living you are reflecting God who shows you His grace and mercies.
What are you facing today? Some big life changing circumstance? Or something that just happened and is invading your peaceful space. Before you had God in your life, you may have felt uneasy, concerned for what is coming. But that is not the case now. You know everything is in God's control and you freely put yourself in His hands, trusting Him to protect you, guide you and help you understand.
Eternal glory is the peace you have in life knowing that God is there and always will be. Jesus has filled us with God's Spirit. The same Holy Spirit who was with Jesus is now and always will be with you. Psalms chapter 116 starts off saying "I love the Lord because He hears my prayers and answers them." The person who wrote this is saying this because God has heard his prayers and helped him. Verse 7 says; "Now I can relax. For the Lord has done this wonderful miracle for me. He has saved me from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling. I shall live! Yes, in His presence---here on earth!"
How has God saved you? Does He save you everyday? You will know the miracle of God's love for you. And you will be forever thankful to Him. That is the power of His Holy Spirit living inside you. I like Psalms chapter 100. "Shout with joy before the Lord, O earth! Obey Him gladly; come to Him, singing with joy. Try to realize what this means---the Lord is God! He made us---we are His people, the sheep of His pasture. Go through His open gates with great thanksgiving; enter His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him and bless His name. For the Lord is always good. He is always loving and kind, and His faithfulness goes on and on to each succeeding generation."
I came to the Lord seeking help with addictions and maybe having some type of a normal life with others where I was not impaired or wanting to get impaired. God heard my prayers and through a miracle took all cravings for alcohol, cigarettes and drugs away. I had to struggle for a healing period but wow, 23 years later and I can't thank Him enough.
Eternal glory can truly happen to anyone who is sincerely believing that maybe God is the answer to their troubles. You deserve to know peace and happiness. You can focus your life on many things but it is only God who can give you Jesus and His Holy Spirit. God knows what you need and what your needs will be. He just wants your love. He wants to reflect through you His glory.
Be the wise one. Be the common sense one. Get along with others. Love them and listen to them. Be humble when speaking and when you give your opinion be ready to adjust yourself to how others think. You are no longer selfish, pigheaded or grumpy. You are God's child living with Jesus and filled with God's Holy Spirit. Seek after God each morning and throughout your day. He is wiser than anyone and is there for you. You will reflect His love for you as you go about your day. Eternal joy is yours because of Jesus.
Thank You Father for Jesus. Thank You for all You are and do through us. The joy is seen in our smile. 😊

Corinthians chapter 3 verse 16-18.
But whenever anyone turns to the Lord from his sins, then the veil is taken away. The Lord is the Spirit who gives them life, and where He is there is freedom. But we Christians have no veil over our faces; we can be mirrors that brightly reflect the glory of the Lord. And as the Spirit of the Lord works within us, we become more and more like Him.

Romans chapter 12 verse 2.
Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but be a new and different person with a fresh newness in all you do and think. Then you will learn from your own experience how His ways will really satisfy you.

Matthew chapter 6 verses 32 and 33.
But your heavenly Father already knows perfectly well that you need them, and He will give them to you if you give Him first place in your life and live as He wants you to.
