But by My Spirit!

If you want something to happen, then get up and see what will happen. Let Jesus be your guide.

Zechariah chapter 4 verse 6.
Then Zechariah the prophet said, "This is God's message to the Governor of Judah (The one given the responsibility to rebuild the Temple): 'Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, though you are few and weak.'

Does your pile of stuff seem overwhelming? You keep whittling away at it and you can see the accomplishments of your hard work, yet when you turn around more has been added to the pile.
That is the way life goes. If you are a lazy person then you are ready to accept what your world gives you. But if you are someone who likes to take on the challenges that come before you, then you will feel good about your accomplishments and your health will show it.
Aches and pains, making mistakes and never giving up are all part of the challenges we face. And each and everyone of them are out to make you quit or slow you down. God works best in those who get up and go. He can't show His best through you unless you are willing. Remember all God wants is praise and faithfulness. And in order to show that, you need to have a spark of interest and a reason. So He works through you by strengthening you and giving you the wisdom to not just accomplish your work but to be blown away by it. Your praise and the praise of others all comes from Him and He starts by working through you.
Acts chapter 2 verse 4 says, And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in languages they did not know, for the Holy Spirit gave them this ability. Life with God means you never have to feel alone again. Even with lots of people involved in our lives, we can feel like the responsibilities are all ours. Like we are the only ones who can help or make the decisions needed. That is not true. God has invited us to come into life with Him through Jesus. And God, believe it or not, is the all powerful Creator of the earth, universe and us.
He does not need you in His life but because He created you He wants you in His life. Isaiah chapter 41 verse 13 says, "I am holding you by your right hand---I, the Lord your God---and I say to you, Don't be afraid; I am here to help you." It's pretty funny how we think that we need to be in control of all that happens in our lives. Even when God does prove His love, through miracles, that astonish us beyond imagination. We still feel the need to make decisions based on our own guidance. There is nothing wrong with stepping up and stepping out. God wants us to do that but He wants us to take Him with us. We are His children and He wants us to look to Him for the guidance we need. He wants to be our protector, He wants to know that He is first place in our thoughts.
Our thoughts are constantly under threat from this world. But it is what we do with those thoughts that make us children of God. Jesus lived with God in every aspect of His life. And we are to do the same. The world may be crumbling around us, our lives may seem out of control and headed for disaster. We may have lost someone close to us and no longer feel we have purpose. God does not want you to live that way. The joy of life is in serving Him. The joy that life brings, is in walking with God's Holy Spirit. The Spirit that Jesus brought to you when you came to Him.
Do you speak to God in a different language? If you are filled with the Holy Spirit and worship and love Him with all your heart, then yes you do. The gift of tongues is a gift from God through His Holy Spirit. It is not something that can be made up or forced into you. It is a gift and a blessing. Just the same as the many other miracles God has given you already. Your joy is the happiness of life with Jesus, blessed to have God as your heavenly Father.
What an amazing life it is to be blessed by God, with the gift of Jesus and a life filled with the Holy Spirit. Isaiah chapter 41 verse 10 says, God gives power to the tired and worn out, and strength to the weak. Your renewed energy is a result of the miracle God does inside you. Jesus could not have gone through what He did without God as the center of His life. God's Spirit is the new breath you have received. In Ezekiel chapter 37, God tells him that He will bring life back to these old bones. He says, "I will put breath into you, and you shall live and know that I am the Lord."
Life can be what you make it to be. God can give you life with Him and an everlasting joy that will never leave you.
Thank You Father for Jesus. Thank You for your Spirit. Without Him we cannot see Your world as You do. 😊

Romans chapter 8 verses 25 and 26.
But if we must keep trusting God for something that has not happened yet, it teaches us to wait patiently and confidently. And in the same way---by our faith---the Holy Spirit helps us with our daily problems and in our praying.

Romans chapter 14 verse 8.
Living or dying we follow the Lord. Either way we are His. Christ died and rose again for this very purpose, so that He can be our Lord both while we live and when we die.

Hebrews chapter 7 verse 25.
He is able to save completely all who come to God through Him. Since He will live forever, He will always be there to remind God that He has paid for their sins with His blood.

John chapter 17 verses 4 and 5.
Jesus said, "I brought glory to You here on earth by doing everything You told me to. And now, Father, reveal My glory as I stand in Your presence, the glory shared before the world began."

Hebrews chapter 10 verses 35 and 36.
Do not let this happy trust in the Lord die away, no matter what happens. Remember your reward! You need to keep on patiently doing God's will if you want Him to do for you all that He has promised.
