Nailed it.

Nail your addictions, concerns and anxieties down, so that they never block your way ever again. Let Jesus show you the life God has for you.

Galatians chapter 5 verse 24.
Those who belong to Christ have nailed their natural desires to His cross and crucified them there.

I was out for a walk this morning and it was so peaceful. The sun was coming up and as I walked down the center of the road, it reminded me of a time when 2 of my friends and I had gotten up really early to go caddying at the golf coarse. We were throwing one of those miniature footballs in the middle of highway seven. Playfully laughing and not a worry in the world.
Why can't those times be now? We are the ones who are in control of our thoughts and the circumstances surrounding our worries. Health issues, death and the attitudes of others may not agree but we are still the ones who control of how we think and feel. The mind is a powerful tool that needs to be used properly.
Hebrews chapter 3 verse 6 says, "But Christ, God's faithful Son, is in complete charge of God's house. And we Christians are God's house---He lives in us!---if we keep up our courage firm to the end, and our joy and our trust in the Lord."
There is a peace available to us through Jesus. Are you ready to receive Him or are you going to take care of matters yourself?
Hebrews chapter 3 verses 7 and 8 warn us to hold on tightly to Christ, guided by the Holy Spirit so that we do not let our hearts become set against Him. Our youthful lives did not have the responsibilities of adulthood, but that does not mean we do not remember those precious times. You may think that where you are now has become so complicated, you long for the days when life was easier and not filled with stuff that takes away your joy.
God wants you to know that you can come to Him at anytime, even when you are loaded down with complication. But why come to God? You have exhausted all other avenues, leaving you wondering what is next. Jesus has shown us what it means to be overwhelmed with struggle, feeling abandoned and alone. He also kept His focus on God, who was His place of peace.
God's plan for Jesus is to make you aware of what you can have. Be bold and come to God seeking his help. God's plan for you is to make you aware so that others can know what they can have. Throughout the bible we are encouraged to seek God daily for all our needs. Your decisions come from trail and error. You take a step forward hoping that you will not fall. Maybe the reason you have come to God is because you are tired and worn down by wrong decisions.
In Galatians chapter 5, Paul shows us a list of what happens when we follow our own desires. That list is long compared to the short list of following the Holy Spirit. Following the path of God, led by Jesus will give you that place to turn in your times of need. In Matthew chapter 11 verses 28-30, Jesus says, "Come to Me and I will give you rest---all of you who work so hard beneath a heavy yoke. Wear my yoke---for it fits perfectly---and let Me teach you; for I am gentle and humble, and you shall find rest for your souls; for I give you only light burdens."
We are not meant to live in a haze, confused and filled with concern. God wants us to enjoy what He created and has given to us. So take whatever it is that is filling your time and bring it to Jesus. Let Him show you who God is and the love He has for you. Nail your old life, the one without Him to the cross and let Jesus do what He gave His life for. So that you will come to God and that God will reflect through you as it did Jesus. Jesus died and rose again by the power of God. You will rise with God to shine in His glory.
Thank You Father for Jesus. Thank You for showing us, through Jesus, our path to walk upon. Our place with You. 😊

James chapter 1 verses 3-8.
Is your life full of difficulties and temptations? Then be happy. for when the way is rough, your patience has a chance to grow. So let it grow, and do not try to squirm out of your problems. For when your patience is finally in full bloom, then you will be ready for anything, strong in character, full and complete. If you want to know what God wants you to do, ask Him, and He will gladly tell you, for He is always ready to give a bountiful supply of wisdom to all who ask Him; He will not resent it. But when you ask Him, be sure that you really expect Him to tell you, for a doubtful mind will be as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind; and every decision you then make will be uncertain, as you turn first this way, and then that. If you do not ask with faith, do not expect the Lord to give you any solid answer."
Thank you Father for Jesus. You have given us the best gift we could ever receive. The gift of Your Son and our place in life with You. 😊

Hebrews chapter 10 verses 35 and 36.
Do not let this happy trust in the Lord die away, no matter what happens. Remember your reward! You need to keep on patiently doing God's will if you want Him to do for you all that He has promised.

Psalms chapter 62 verses 1 and 2.
I stand silently before the Lord, waiting for Him to rescue me. For salvation comes for Him alone. Yes, He alone is my Rock, my rescuer, defense and fortress. Why then should I be tense with fear when troubles come?

Proverbs chapter 18 verses 10 and 15.
(10.) The Lord is a strong fortress. The Godly run to Him and are safe.
(15.) The intelligent man is always open to new ideas. In fact, he looks for them.
