Who is God?

The roosters crow, the birds are singing. It's a beautiful day! Thank You Jesus.

Hebrews chapter 1 verses 1-3.
Long ago God spoke in many different ways to our fathers through the prophets (in visions, dreams, and even face to face), telling them little by little about His plans. But now in these days He has spoken to us through His Son to whom He has given everything, and through whom He made the world and everything there is. God's Son shines out with God's glory, and all that God's Son is and does marks Him as God. He regulates the universe by the mighty power of His command. He is the one who died to cleanse us and clear our record of all sin, and then sat down in highest honor beside the great God of heaven.

Who is God? He is Jesus and through Jesus He has given us life with His Holy Spirit, in the world that He created. In John chapter 14 verse 6 Jesus said, "I am the Way---yes, and the Truth and the Life. No one can get to the Father except by means of Me.
How hard can it be to believe in God? All around us we can see and touch His creations. But yet we still have a hard time giving Him total control over our lives. That is why He gave us Jesus. Jesus has always been with God, but the time came when Jesus needed to come to earth as a human to live among us and to tell us that He is the Messiah, God's Son our way to a peaceful life.
The truth can be hard to accept, but it remains the truth and nothing can change or twist it. Without God we are left to make it through life on our own. It would be nice if our minds were at peace knowing that everything we work hard for is not influenced by others. It would be nice if we did not get old and have to experience health troubles, left at the mercies of others to care for us.
Through out our time here we will struggle. We will argue, we will have financial difficulties and we will know what it means to be sad. The result is a hardened heart, stubborn and bitter. We do all sorts of things to keep ourselves from letting the woes of life stop us from enjoying what little time we have here. If God is the almighty and all powerful creator of all things including us then why is our world as it is? Why can't it be filled with peace and harmony?
God may be the creator of all things but humans have gone and followed their own ideas of what life should be like. And that has caused turmoil and confusion. God has never changed or veered from whom He is. He wants our love and focus to be on Him, but it has to be something we want and fully believe in. So in a world of sadness and struggle there can be joy.
Isaiah chapter 30 verses 20-22 say, Though He give you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, yet He will be with you to teach you---with your own eyes you will see your Teacher. And if you leave God's paths and go astray, you will hear a Voice behind you say, "No, this is the way; walk here." And you will destroy all your silver idols and golden images and cast them out like filthy things you hate to touch. "Ugh!" you'll say to them. "Be gone!"
In a world of darkness there is the, Light of Jesus. The place where we are always welcomed and loved for who we are. It is a place of refuge, praise and worship. Instead of whining and bickering, there are tears of joy! Listen and join in with the voices as they sing, "Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty---the one who was, and is, and is to come."
1 John chapter 1 verses 5-7 say, "This is the message God has given us to pass on to you; that God is Light and in Him is no darkness at all. So if we say we are His friends, but go on living in spiritual darkness and sin, we are lying. But if we are living in the light of God's presence, just as Christ does, then we have wonderful fellowship and joy with each other, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from every sin."
Who is God? He is the one who gives you a choice. Your life may be filled with troubles and seem unfair but that is not the way God works. Isaiah chapter 40 verses 28-31 say, "Don't you yet understand? Don't you know by now that the everlasting God, the Creator of the farthest parts of the earth, never grows faint or weary? No one can fathom the depths of His understanding. He gives power to the tired and worn out, and strength to the weak. Even the youths shall be exhausted, and the young men will all give up. But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint."
God is the one who loves what He creates and gives life to. You are one of His creations and He loves you and wants to care for you. Look around and see the beauty of His creations and give thanks to Him for Jesus, the shepherd, who's voice you can recognize and want to follow.
Thank You Father for Jesus. Thank You for showing us who You are. You are seen everywhere. Especially in the joy of those who walk with You. 😊

John chapter 14 verses 9-11.
Jesus replied, "Don't you even know who I am, Philip, even after all this time I have been with you? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father! So why are you asking to see Him? Don't you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me? The words I say are not My own but are from My Father who lives in Me. And He does His work through Me. Just believe it---that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me. Or else believe it because of the mighty miracles you have seen Me do."

Galatians chapter 5 verses 13-18.
For, dear brothers, you have been given freedom: not freedom to do wrong, but freedom to love and serve each other. For the whole Law can be summed up in this one command: "Love others as you love yourself." But if instead of showing love among yourselves you are always critical and catty, watch out! Beware of ruining each other. I advise you to obey only the Holy Spirit's instructions. He will tell you where to go and what to do, and then you won't be doing the wrong things your evil nature wants you to. For we naturally love to do evil things that are just the opposite from the things that the Holy Spirit tells us to do; and the good things we want to do when the Spirit has His way with us are just the opposite of our natural desires. These two forces within us are constantly fighting each other to win control over us, and our wishes are never free from their pressures. When you are guided by the Holy Spirit you need no longer force yourself to obey Jewish laws.

Hebrews chapter 1 verses 10-12.
God also called Him "Lord" when He said, "Lord, in the beginning You made the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands. They will disappear into nothingness, but You will remain forever. They will become worn out like old clothes, and some day you will fold them up and replace them. But You Yourself will never change, and Your years will never end."

Revelation chapter 1 verses 15-18.
His feet gleamed like burnished bronze, and His voice thundered like the waves against the shore. He held seven stars in His right hand and a sharp, double-bladed sword in His mouth, and His face shone like the power of the sun in unclouded brilliance. When I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead; but He laid His right hand on me and said, "Don't be afraid! Though I am the First and the Last, the Living One who died, who is now alive forevermore, who has the key to hell and death---don't be afraid!

Revelation chapter 3 verse 14.
Write this letter to the leader of the church of Laodicea: "This message is from the one who stands firm, the faithful and true Witness (of all that is or was or evermore shall be), the primeval source of God's creation."

Revelation chapter 3 verses 20-22.
"Look! I have been standing at the door and I am constantly knocking. If anyone who hears Me calling Him and opens the door, I will come in and fellowship with him and he with Me. I will let every one who conquers sit beside Me on My throne, just as I took My place with My Father on His throne when I conquered. Let those who can hear, listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches."
