Easter is coming.

With all that you are carrying and trying so hard to get along with, let Jesus help you bear your burdens.

Proverbs chapter 4 verse 19.
Listen, son of Mine, to what I say. Listen carefully. Keep these thoughts ever in mind; let them penetrate deep within your heart, for they will mean real life for you, and radiant health.

Do you think of Jesus at Easter time? It's hard to think about what He went through so that He could fulfill God's plan. The bloody mess, the pain and agony of His beatings and the crucifixion all so that we could know God's saving grace.
Jesus is the Messiah. He is the Son of God, He is the one who comes and gets us and puts us back on our feet, where we get to live in His pastures, aware of His voice and filled with the awesome joy of the Holy Spirit praising God with every breath we take.
But for that to happen we need to look upon what Jesus went through. It will bring a tear to your eyes, it will make you feel sad and maybe angry. Now, look at why you have come to Jesus, seeking God's love and forgiveness. Jesus suffered and then cried out in anguish to God, and the heavy curtain that hung over the the entrance to the most holy place was torn in two, opening the way for everyone to see behind.
Three days later, just as the Scriptures predicted. Jesus arose from the dead and was seen by many people over a period of time. How does this relate to you? God's plan is for all people to worship and honor Him, for the Creator that He is. His plan is for people to know that He is the creator of their bodies and it is He whom gave life to that body. His plan is for all people to trust in Him as their protector and provider. He tried for many years to get people to do this but people want to follow their own ideas.
So they deny who God is. They create images and then expect what they created to provide the answers. Or there is no understanding, just that we are here and then we are not. There maybe sickness, suffering and heartaches in the time we are here, but they think that it is their own doing and they have to deal with it as they see fit. God's plan is no secret. Many people seek after Jesus and believe in God.
The thing is God is not something created by man. Jesus came to live among men so that they would know who He is and see that He experienced the same sufferings we do and tell us of God's plan for our salvation.
Philippians chapter 2 verses 3-11 say, "Don't be selfish; don't live to make a good impression on others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourself. Do not just think about your own affairs, but be interested in others, too, and in what they are doing. Your attitude should be the kind that was shown us by Jesus Christ, who though He was God, did not demand and cling to His rights as God, but laid aside His mighty power and glory, taking the disguise of a slave and becoming like men. And He humbled Himself even further, going so far as actually to die a criminal's death on a cross."
You have suffered and you will face many sufferings ahead. It's time for you to enjoy the life you have. I don't mean happiness that comes from the things of this world but true everlasting joy. Where forgiveness, love and understanding reflect the humbleness of Jesus. You are trusting in God, just as Jesus did. Our trials try our patience but with Jesus, the glory of God is the light we have chosen to live in.
What Jesus did for us has given everyone the opportunity to turn from denying God so that they can have a life with Him, under the watchful eye of God, filled with the joy of the Holy Spirit.
Thank You Father for Jesus. Thank You for our tears of joy that Jesus brings to us each day. Filling us with songs of worship and praise. 😊

Matthew chapter 10 verses 39 and 40.
Jesus said to them, "If you cling to your life, you will lose it; but if you give it up for Me, you will save it. Those who welcome you are welcoming Me. And when they welcome Me they are welcoming God who sent Me."

Matthew chapter 6 verses 31-33.
Jesus told them, "So don't worry at all about having enough food and clothing. Why be like the heathen? For they take pride in all these things and are deeply concerned about them. But your heavenly Father already knows perfectly well that you need them, and He will give them to you if you give Him first place in your life and live as He wants you to."

Matthew chapter 17 verses 22 and 23.
One day while Jesus and the disciples were still in Galilee, He told them, "I'm going to be betrayed into the power of those who will kill Me, and on the third day afterwards I will be brought back to life again." And the disciples hearts were filled with sorrow and dread.

Psalms chapter 107 verses 8 and 9.
Oh, that these men would praise the Lord for His loving kindness, and for all of His wonderful deeds! For He satisfies the thirsty soul and fills the hungry soul with good.
