Belief.

Finally I get it!

1 Corinthians chapter 2 verses 13 and 14.
In telling you about these gifts we have even used the the very words given to us by the Holy Spirit, not words that we as men might choose. So we use the Holy Spirit's words to explain the Holy Spirit's facts. But the man who is not a Christian cannot understand and cannot accept these thoughts from God, which the Holy Spirit teaches us. They sound foolish to him, because only those who have the Holy Spirit within them can understand what the Holy Spirit means. Others just can't take it in.

1 Corinthians chapter 1 verses 30 and 31.
For it is from God alone that you have your life through Christ Jesus. He showed us God's plan of salvation; He was the one who made us acceptable to God; He made us pure and holy and gave Himself to purchase our salvation. As it say's in the Scriptures, "If anyone is going to boast, let him boast only of what the Lord has done."

There are a ton of thoughts that fill our days and consume our lives. What is it that is going to bring you peace? God is the only place that you will find peace and it is only by believing in Jesus that you can come to have a life with God.
Now you may think that you are having a peaceful life, dealing with all circumstance as you see fit. You get to have a vacation, you enjoy a family, you may or may not have a successful job. The issue is attitudes and righteous living. No one likes to feel alone when having issues to deal with and they do not like feeling abandoned, left to face whatever the consequences may be. God will not do that.
When does eternal life begin? It begins the day you accept Jesus and fully believe that Jesus is your your savoir. God does not play games. You are either fully devoted to Him or you are not. There is no half in or half out. There is no changing your mind, thinking you can test Him and then make your own decision.
Jeremiah chapter 29 verse 11 says; "For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, they are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." God has a plan for your life. You can count on Him to know your worries and concerns and to be there for you always. It is total peace knowing that He has your life in His hands.
He is with you in the hospital, in sickness and in death. He is with you from the moment He enters into your life. You were doing your own thing, dealing with your issues as you saw fit, then when everything became overwhelming or confusing, you turned to God in hope that He was willing to help you, as others say that He will.
No matter what your situation is, He is waiting for you to call upon Him. How can this be? He is unseen and you hear the opinions of people. Some believe and some don't. You are the one who makes the decision, would you call upon Him or was it He who put that thought in your head? Whatever it was, you have come to Him in the privacy of your life. No one has to know what you are doing or saying, only He does. And He see's, your will for Him, to be the answer you seek.
From that moment on something happens and you realize that it can only be from the one you reached out to. A warm feeling comes over you and you are thankful. Now you want to know more. Luke chapter 12 verse 49 says, "So be ready all the time. For I, the Messiah, will come when least expected."
For us it's business as usual. God may have entered into our lives but each day continues just as it always has except now there is a smile because of the joy you are feeling. Jesus has touched you with God and His Holy Spirit is with you all the time.
Your circumstances have not changed. The bills are still there, the relationship troubles have not gone away, your worries about job, family and what others are demanding of you, are still there. You have called upon God and Jesus, our Savior, has lifted you up to see God in all His glory and mercies.
You have changed! It is in your belief that God has touched your life. You can't believe it, there is no other place you would rather be. The miracles blow you away. God's power is more than you could have imagined. People notice and your forever thankful.
Thank You Father for Jesus. Thank You for Your saving grace. 😊

John chapter 1 verses 1-5.
Before anything else existed, there was Christ, with God. He has always been alive and is Himself God. He created everything there is---nothing exists that He did not make. Eternal life is in Him, and this life gives light to all mankind. His life is the Light that shines through the darkness---and the darkness can never extinguish it.

John chapter 1 verses 10-13.
But although He made the world, the world did not recognize Him when He came. Even in His own land and among His own people, the Jews, He was not accepted. Only a few would welcome and receive Him. But to all who received Him, He gave the right to become children of God. All they needed to do was to trust Him to save them. All those who believe this are reborn!---not a physical rebirth resulting from human passion or plan---but from the will of God.

Psalms chapter 121.
Shall I look to the mountain god's for help? No! My help is from Jehovah who made the mountains! And the heavens too! He will never let me stumble, slip or fall. For He is always watching, never sleeping. Jehovah Himself is caring for you! He is your defender.  He protects you day and night. He keeps you from all evil, and preserves your life. He keeps His eye upon you as you come and go, and always guards you.

Psalms chapter 118 verse 24.
This is the day that the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.
