God's Glory.

There is nothing like the peaceful calm of stillness. God calms us through Jesus. Reflect His peace.

2 Corinthians chapter 3 verses 16-18.
But whenever anyone turns to the Lord from his sins, then the veil is taken away. The Lord is the Spirit who gives them life, and where He is there is freedom (from trying to be saved by keeping the laws of God). But we Christians have no veil over our faces; we can be mirrors that brightly reflect the glory of the Lord. And as the Spirit of the Lord works within us, we become more and more like Him.

I read today that the number "seven" represents completion or perfection. God rested on the seventh day after completing His work and Jesus tells us that we should forgive seventy times seven. A number that represents complete forgiveness. That is God's glory being seen in our lives. Through our faces as they reflect the glory of God in how we act.
In Malachi chapter 4 verse 2 it says; "For you who fear My name, The Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in His wings. And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture."
The glory of God reflects in who we are. When you decide to walk with Jesus, then you will come to know God and trust in His guidance. There is nothing like it. But the only way you will know for yourself is to come before Him and talk to Him.
Everyday we look for new experiences in order to keep ourselves sane, rested and refreshed. At least that is what we tell ourselves. It is a never ending search, because the bills do not stop coming. The arguments, anxieties and worries are always attacking our peace. It is silly to keep on spending more than you have and living in grief, it is like being in a dark hole and only seeing a glimpse of light out the top.
As we age we experience things that are not so pleasant. Our bodies show wear and fatigue, maybe there has been a marriage break up, or the loss of someone very close to us. Those are major life changing events but in-between all of those, are the smaller things that poke and jab at us continually.
We all have our own issues that we deal with and we all have our own ways of dealing with them. When we meet someone we do not know what is going on in their life. We do not know what troubles their thoughts. God does but we do not. Our interaction may be a good one or it may lead to heartache, sadness or frustration.
God is inviting everyone to come to know Jesus and have a life with Him. It is a life of trusting and love. The result is thankfulness and the reflection of joy in your life. So when you have come to the point of being worn down and fed up with always fighting to find something, anything, that will help you deal with each day, that is the time when, through Jesus, you will find God waiting.
It is through understanding what Jesus did and how He acted that you will come to understand and trust in God. He is the ultimate relationship of love and caring that you can ever have. A relationship with God is totally different than anything you could imagine. You will struggle with the changes that come along because you are being asked to trust in Him. But you will also know that what God is doing to you is way better that what you have had.
Imagine leaping with joy like a calf in a pasture, filled with peace, free from worry. That is what God is all about. Being there for you so that you will know that it was Him and only Him that can provide you with such amazing love. Isaiah chapter 26 says we have this assurance: "Those who belong to God shall live again. Their bodies shall rise again! Those who dwell in the dust shall awake and sing for joy! For God's light of life will fall like dew upon them." God is with us now because we have come to live with Him, trusting in Him for everything. Even in death, God is with us.
2 Corinthians chapter 4 tells us; For God, who said, "Let there be light in the darkness," has made us understand that it is the brightness of His glory that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ. But this precious treasure---this light and power that now shines within us---is held in a perishable container, that is, in our weak bodies. Everyone can see that the glorious power within us must be from God and is not our own. We are pressed on every side by troubles, but not crushed and broken. We are perplexed because we don't know why things happen as they do, but we don't give up and quit. Wow, God shines through us.
And Philippians chapter 4 expresses how we feel. "Always be full of joy in the Lord; I say it again, rejoice! Let everyone see that you are unselfish and considerate in all you do. Remember that the Lord is coming soon. Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs and don't forget to thank Him for His answers. If you do this you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus.
Thank You Father for Jesus. Thank You for Your glory. The joy we reflect in our happiness. 😊

Matthew chapter 18 verses 21 and 22.
Then Peter came to Him and asked, "Sir, how often should I forgive a brother who sins against me? Seven times?"
"No!" Jesus replied, "Seventy times seven!"

Matthew chapter 6 verses 14 and 15.
Your heavenly Father will forgive you if you forgive those who have sinned against you; but if you refuse to forgive them, He will not forgive you.

Colossians chapter 2 verses 2-4.
Paul said, "This is what I have asked God for you; that you will be encouraged and knit together by strong ties of love, and that you will have the rich experience of knowing Christ with real certainty and clear understanding. For God's secret plan. now at last made known, is Christ Himself. In Him lie hidden all the mighty, untapped treasures of wisdom and knowledge. I'm saying this because I am afraid that someone may fool you with smooth talk."
