Hidden Secrets.

You may be listening but your thoughts are off elsewhere. Jesus, listens and God responds.

Song of Solomon chapter 2 verse 15.
The little foxes are ruining the vineyards. Catch them, for the grapes are all in blossom.

How many things are holding you back from letting the most wonderful experiences of your life come in? It's hard not to be wrapped up in what's is going on, leaving no time left to seek God or look to who Jesus is.
Our jobs and our family consume a lot of our time. And what little time we have left we spend enjoying the fruits of our labor. It's those little annoying mistakes and failures, that interrupt our well earned peaceful moments, and steal our joy.
The little things will always happen. We can't get away from them, but we can talk to God about them. God knows everything about you. He has been patient and open about who He is and what He wants from you. Yet you do not look in His direction.
It is a little unsettling to set aside all that you have trusted in and have become accustom to in order to let God in. In Isaiah chapter 52, the Israelites are being mistreated and oppressed by people who think themselves as superior and blaspheme the name of the Lord. In verse 6 God says; "Therefore I will reveal My name to My people and they shall know the power in that name. Then at last they will recognize that it is I, yes, I who speaks to them."
God knows that people wander and live in laughter, fun and misdirected troubles. It's hard not to like a life that is like that. But that is not real. Life's issues have to be dealt with and because those issues are there, it leaves us having to be responsible. Responsibility leads to pressure upon us to do the right things and that leads to confusion.
Luke chapter 19 introduces us to Zacchaeus, an influential Jew in the Roman tax collecting business. He was curious about Jesus and when Jesus went by He called by name. Jesus said "Come for I am going to be a guest in your home today!" Verse 7 says; The crowds were displeased. "He has gone to be the guest of a notorious sinner," they grumbled.
This Zacchaeus fellow is a good example of an average everyday person who has a good job and before that moment never put much thought into who Jesus was. In verse 10 Jesus says; "I the Messiah, have come to search for and save such souls as his."
Jesus had not met Zacchaeus, before their paths crossed, yet Jesus called him by name and knew the excitement this man had for Him. The outcome was salvation for Zacchaeus. Our hidden secrets taunt us and lead us to doing things that we may regret. Yet, anyone and everyone can come before God because of His gracious love through Christ.
Romans chapter 3 verses 21 and 22 say, "But now God has shown us a different way to heaven---not by "being good enough" and trying to keep His laws, but by a new way (though not new, really, for the Scriptures told about it long ago). Now God says He will accept and acquit us---declare us
"not guilty"---if we trust Jesus Christ to take away our sins. And we all can be saved in the same way, by coming to Christ, no matter who we are or what we have been like. Yes, all have sinned; all fall short of God glorious ideal; yet now God declares us "not guilty" of offending Him if we trust in Jesus Christ, who in His kindness freely takes away our sins."
We all have hidden secrets. They are our hopes and dreams, they are our jealousy's, our envies and our financial wows. They are the things that are personal to us and so we keep them hidden. Even our speaking to Jesus is personal. God is not going to run around and tell everyone what you confided in Him with but He does listen, and it can feel good to talk openly about your secrets.
There is way more to God than Him being a place to unload your concerns and worries. Besides the fact that you feel good, after leaving the heavy loads that weigh you down, on God. Now that you are talking to God, have you noticed His help? Do you like to come back to Him because of His help? You must be trusting Him because you are talking to Him about your most cherished thoughts.
God loves you and has plans for you. Maybe on one of your visits to God, why not ask Him what it is that you can do for Him? James chapter 1 verse 21 says; "So, get rid of all that is wrong in your life, both inside and outside, and humbly be glad for the wonderful message we have received, for it is able to save our souls as it takes hold of our hearts."
God can do for you more than you can ever imagine. He clears the mind so that we see the world He created, He is the joy of every moment and He is the goodness you see in others. Let your one and only hidden secret be Jesus. It is the story of what He did for you, that you are ready to share with anyone and everyone.
Thank You Father for Jesus. Thank You that there are no hidden secrets in life with you. Only You and the beauty of Your love. 😊

2 Corinthians chapter 8 verse 2.
Though they have been going through much trouble and hard times, they have mixed their wonderful joy with their deep poverty, and the result has been an overflow of giving to others.

1 Corinthians chapter 15 verse 58.
Since future victory is sure, be strong and steady, always abounding in the Lord's work, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever wasted as it would be if there were no resurrection.

Hebrews chapter 10 verses 19 and 20.
Now we may walk right into the very Holy of Holies, where God is, because of the blood of Jesus. This is the fresh, new, life-giving way which Christ has opened up for us by tearing the curtain---the human body---to let us into the holy presence of God.

Isaiah chapter 41 verse 10.
Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed. I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will uphold you with My victorious right hand.
