The Words.

2 Corinthians chapter 5 verse 17.
Therefore anyone who is in Christ, is a new creation, old things have passed away, behold all things have become new.

1 Corinthians chapter 1 verses 21-25.
For God in His wisdom saw to it that the world would never find God through human brilliance, and then He stepped in and saved all those who believed His message, which the world calls foolish and silly. It is foolish to the Jews because they want a sign from heaven as proof of what is preached is true; and it is foolish to the Gentiles because they believe only what agrees with their philosophy and seems wise to them. So when we preach about Christ dying to save them, the Jews are offended and the Gentiles say it is all nonsense. But God has opened the eyes of those called to salvation, both Jews and Gentiles, to see that Christ is the mighty power of God to save them. Christ Himself is the center of God's wise plan for their salvation. This so-called "foolish" plan of God is far wiser than the wisest plan of the wisest man, and God in His weakness---Christ dying on the cross---is far stronger than any man.

What do the above words mean to You? Do you believe in the words of the Bible? Do you believe they help you through your day?
In John chapter 5 verses 41-44, Jesus is talking to the Jewish leaders and states clearly to them; "Your approval or disapproval means nothing to Me, for as I know so well, you do not have God's love within you. I know because I have come to you representing My Father and you refuse to welcome Me, though you readily enough receive those who are not sent from Him, but represent only themselves! No wonder you cannot believe! For you gladly honor each other, but you don't care about the honor that comes from the only God!"
God gives us a purpose for living. There is so much that happens to us that either we get confused and dismayed by or we are just coasting along biding our time until we get old and life is gone. Our own thoughts are our own worst enemy. You have it all figured out only to find that you were not right at all. You search your thoughts to learn from your mistake and maybe you get it right on one of your many retries.
Are you patient enough to look closely at the steps ahead before taking action? So much happens around us that spur of the moment decisions need to be made. Most responses were taught to us when we were young and have become something we do without putting any or little thought into. Taking for-granted the little things can cause us some major damage. For example climbing, or saying things in the heat of the moment that we will regret later.
Addictions are very hard to break, because they are our weakness and are easily given into. Is money your weakness, is it shopping or alcohol, maybe it is food or recreational drugs? The best way of learning is trying. If something seems hard to do then seek the right help for the guidance you need. Maybe you will stumble upon the right answer quickly and maybe you won't. If it is something you truly want to do then you will not give up but learn with each step you take. Until finally your objective is solved.
God is unseen, yet His presence is known to those who walk with Him. There's a line from a movie I once heard; "Are you not one of those guys who can take a pocket knife and build a mall in the jungle?" Great line but not everyone has the knowledge to do such a feat. There are a lot of expectations put upon us and not all of them can be solved. And that requires a settling of the mind.
Proverbs talks about wisdom as being a person we should seek, someone who can give us the guidance we need. Chapter 4 verse 18 says; "The good man walks along in the ever-brightening light of God's favor; the dawn gives way to morning splendor."
A restful sleep gives us renewed energy. The best medicine for what ails us is rest. and how many times do you take what your are struggling with to bed, only to toss and turn. God does not want us to be restless and unsure. He wants our focus to be on Him, trusting Him to provide for us the knowledge we seek.
God is our Father, He is our place of refuge, He is wisdom and understanding. There is no other place to where you can find such amazing peace and happiness. You can continue living as you see fit or you can talk to God and let His love touch your life. Have you ever had something, lost it and thought what could have happened to it? You know you had it and you look everywhere. You are spending time looking when you should be getting on with other things.
It is so easy to get caught up in the things we do daily. Our thoughts are focused on the task at hand. It is easy to lose our focus of God and Jesus. If you see yourself as God's child and Jesus as your savior then no matter what we get involved with, He is with you. By reading the bible and through our prayers we are prepared, the best we can be, for facing the challenges of the day. 1 Peter chapter 5 tells us that we are to be careful and watch for the attacks of the enemy.
God has given you a wonderful gift. The gift of Jesus. It is the joy you feel for His saving grace that out weighs any problems you might have. We wander, we get involved in things, we do and say things. We are humans, and God through Jesus has given us a home to live in. Our place with Him.
Thank you Father for Jesus. Thank you for your grace and mercies. More than we could have ever thought or imagined. 😊

Ephesians chapter 3 verse 8.
Just think! Though I did nothing to deserve it, and though I am the most useless Christian there is, yet I was the one chosen for this special joy of telling the Gentiles the Glad News of the endless treasures available to them in Christ.

Philippians chapter 3 verses 8 and 9.
I have put aside all else, counting it worth less than nothing, in order that I can have Christ, and become one with Him, no longer counting on being saved by being good enough or by obeying God's laws, but by trusting Christ to save me; for God's way of making us right with Himself depends on faith---counting on Christ alone.

Psalms chapter 34 verses 9 and 10.
If you belong to the Lord, reverence Him, for everyone who do this has everything he needs. Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry but those who reverence the Lord will never lack any good thing.

Luke chapter 6 verse 38.
For if you give, you will get! Your gift will return to you in full and overflowing measure, pressed down, shaken together to make room for more and running over.
