Life Blood!

Do you believe it? You never thought of it before but now you see. It is all because of Jesus!

Leviticus chapter 17 verse 11.
For the life of the flesh is in the blood and I have given you the blood to sprinkle upon the alter as an atonement for your souls; it is the blood that makes atonement because it is the life.

Blood runs through all living creatures. It is needed in order to keep us alive. It's amazing the way all living things are created. Each one is different and yet each one needs a life giving fluid to survive.
Is it science or is it God that created all living things? Science gets pretty complicated and has never been able to come up with the complete and final answer. God however does not mix words or tell us to dig deeper into what is being said in order to find the bottom line. God states clearly in the very first verses of the bible; "When God began creating...."
If God is the creator of all things then that means He is the one who put the life saving fluids into all things. I use life saving fluids because plants and trees use the same process for maintaining life. In the old Testament, people were asked to make sacrifices to God in exchange for His forgiveness. It is very hard for people to go through a day without doing something that goes against God's will. So, in the days of old, people were asked to sprinkle the life giving blood of an animal onto God's alter, while declaring their sins and asking God for His forgiveness.
But this did not work because people just kept on sinning and the sprinkling of the blood did not seem to matter. God did not care about the blood but rather that people would see Him as their heavenly Father who cares and loves them deeply. He wants people to know that it is because of Him that they are alive and that they should trust in Him for their daily needs instead of following their own desires.
The answer was Jesus. The Messiah, who was talked about by the prophets. Judges chapter 6 talks about how people fall off the focus of God and begin worshiping other things. Things that take hold of us and draw us into poverty and deep depression. It is those things that start out being so impressive like the desire of money and getting what we want. Bragging about what we have trying to make impressions on others who really do not care at all.
There are so many things that can easily pull us in all directions, which eventually cause confusion and emptiness. In John chapter 14 Jesus talks about the Holy Spirit. Who will teach us much, as well as remind us of everything Jesus teaches about God. It goes on to talk about gifts and having peace of mind and heart. Those things that people need to sustain a happy life.
God knew the paths of people are to be drawn in by desires and temptation, He knew that Jesus living among them would give them hope. He knew that there had to be something given in order to have people once and for all time, have a choice. Jesus spoke about choosing the path of God and performed amazing miracles that could of only have come from God. It left people standing in awe and wondering who is this Jesus guy? (John chapter 5)
Jesus dying was the final sacrifice that people had to make. Now life with God can be had by believing in who Jesus is and who the Holy Spirit is. The blood that runs through us keeps us alive, but how did it get there? We are a miracle and when you believe that God is the reason for our existence then you will be thankful to Him for the life you have. Not everyone see's it that way and there are many reasons as to why we get angry with God, but the fact does remain that He created us and He is offering us eternal joy and happiness because of the final sacrifice made by Jesus Christ.
You can start your day talking to God. You can tell Him how thankful you are. You can tell Him your concerns and frustrations. You can walk out the door knowing that He has heard you. Feel good about what you have done and let the relief be seen in your day.
Thank You Father for Jesus. Thank You for the life we have with You. 😊

John chapter 16 verse 12-14.
Jesus told them; "Oh, there is so much more I want to tell you, but you cannot understand it now. When the Holy Spirit, who is truth, comes, He shall guide you into all truth, for He will not be presenting His own ideas, but will be passing on to you what He has heard. He will tell you about the future. He shall praise Me and bring Me great honor by showing you My glory."

Luke chapter 22 verses 41 and 42.
Jesus walked away, perhaps a stone's throw, and knelt down and prayed this prayer: "Father, if You are willing, please take this cup of horror away from Me. But I want Your will, not mine."

Psalms chapter 62 verses 5 and 6.
But I stand silently before the Lord, waiting for Him to rescue me. For salvation comes from Him alone. Yes, He alone is my rock, my rescuer, defense and fortress---why then should I be tense with fear when troubles come?

James chapter 4 verses 1-3.
What is causing the quarrels and fights among you? Is it not because there is a whole army of evil desires within you? You want what you do not have, so you kill to get it. You long for what others have, and cannot afford it, so you start a fight to take it away from them. And yet the reason you do not have what you want is that you do not ask God for it. And even when you do ask you do not get it because your whole aim is wrong---you want only what will give you pleasure.
