Left out!

We are not left out when we are enjoying the Light of Jesus.

Hebrews chapter 9 verses 11 and 12.
Christ came as the High Priest of this better system which we now have. He went into that greater, perfect tabernacle in heaven, not made by men nor part of this world, and once and for all took blood into that inner room, the Holy of Holies, and sprinkled it on the mercy seat; but it was not the blood of goats and calves. No, He took His own blood, and with it He, by Himself, made sure of our eternal salvation.

What is behind your curtain? The curtain is your life without God. With all it's heartaches and addictions, with all the worries and concerns, with the restless sleeps caused by anxiety, and the endless search for peace.
Having fun feels good at the time, but it is soon over and then what? Maybe you like exercise and enjoy the great outdoors, maybe you like the warmth of the sun and the fun of exotic places. Maybe you like to shop. It's nice to enjoy ourselves, but what happens when strife and grief come along? Being frustrated and angry does no one any good.
Hiding away does not work, and revenge only causes further complications. Having a healthy balanced life helps and being content is needed. Finding what will totally satisfy us is hard to do. You have your ways of looking at things and others have their own visions of what works. Who guides your life? Who shows you what is the right way to live and who is there with you when you feel left out?
The Scriptures tell us that we are God's children, who have a hard time believing in Him as our heavenly Father. Jesus talks about God and His love for us. When Jesus died the curtain in the tabernacle was torn, revealing the place where the High Priest would speak to God on our behalf. That means the curtain between God and us no longer exists.
The Scriptures tell us that Jesus has made it possible for us to come to God on our own. God's plan is for us to love Him and trust in Him. We can go about living as we think and doing things as we would like but God would like to be with us. He does not want to be left out. Having Him with us means we are aware of His presence and we do this because we want to.
Everyone has a story. A story of impossible odds. Even God, the creator of all things, including us has a story. His story is about love, disappointment and frustration. His story is about salvation and forgiveness. His story is Jesus. God has sent many people to do things, that will receive questions and ridicule, for example prophets, Moses, Jesus and so on. These people and many many more have stories of hardship and understanding as they talk about God.
With God we are no longer left out. You can argue all you want. You can get disappointed and frustrated. You can say things that try to make others understand how you feel. You have a right to be miserable and upset. Or you can set aside everything that is blinding you from seeing God and talk to Him about what ails you. Everyone who talks with God are doing so because they are seeking His help and guidance. They are not left out but living in the presence of God.
God must look at us and wonder what is taking them so long to see Me? In Isaiah chapter 42, God says; "I am the Lord! That is my name, and I will not give My glory to anyone else; I will not share My praise with carved idols." Jesus showed God to people and was killed for doing so. He may have felt sad for others but He knew His place was with God, and nothing would change that. He was not left out, He knew His place.
Thank You Father for Jesus. Thank You for our place with you through Your Son, Jesus. 😊

Romans chapter 6 verse 23.
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is everlasting life through His Son Jesus Christ our Lord and savior.

Hebrews chapter 9 verse 14.
Just think how much more surely the blood of Christ will transform our lives and hearts. His sacrifice frees us from the worry of having to obey the old rules, and makes us want to serve the living God.

Hebrews chapter 9 verse 15.
Christ came with this new agreement so that all who are invited may come and have forever all the wonders God has promised them.

John chapter 3 verse 20.
They hated the heavenly Light because they wanted to sin in the darkness. They stayed away from that Light for fear their sins would be exposed and they would be punished. (God is the Light that shines through Jesus and the same Light that shines in those who love God.)

Exodus chapter 4 verses 11 and 12.
"Who makes the mouths?" Jehovah asked him. "Isn't it I, the Lord? Who makes a man so that he can speak or not speak, see or not see, hear or not hear? Now go ahead and do as I tell you, for I will help you to speak well, and I will tell you what to say."
