The Christ

You may not want to hear it or have anything to do with it, but you're looking and curious. God is real!

John chapter 1 verses 1-5.
Before anything else existed, there was Christ, with God. He has always been alive and is Himself God. He created everything there is---nothing exists that He did not make. Eternal life is in Him, and this life gives light to all mankind. His life is the light that shines through the darkness---and the darkness can never extinguish it.

Other translations call Christ, "the Word" which is supposed to be the words of God spoken into reality.
For example in Genesis chapter 1 it speaks of the heavens and earth as being a shapeless mass covered by darkness and hovering over it all was the Spirit of God. Then God spoke saying "Let there be light." And light appeared.
It was the words of God that brought Jesus into this world through the virgin Mary. Am I asking you to believe that the heavens and earth were created by God just because the bible tells us that it is the truth? The bible also tells us that God created mankind.
Psalms chapter 139 talks of the relationship we can have with God. It talks about the comfort and peace we have from knowing God is with us. Verse 5 says, "You both precede and follow me, and place Your hand of blessing upon my head." It continues in verses 6 and 7 to say, "This is too glorious, to wonderful to believe! I can never be lost to Your Spirit!"
It continues to talk about how we are never hidden from God. No matter where we go He is there, even darkness cannot hide, for to God darkness and light are both alike. Then it talks about how God formed our complex and intricate bodies in our mother's womb. How thankful we are for His wonderful, amazing workmanship. It talks about how He scheduled each day of our lives before we even began to breathe. It ends with a challenge to God. Ask Him to search your thoughts, and test them so that He can know your heart. Ask Him to point out anything in us that makes Him sad and ask Him to lead you along the path of everlasting life.
If you can believe in God and that He wants to care and love you, then you will know who Jesus is and you will be blown away by how much God really does love you. God may be spiritual but the things He does for us are mind boggling. They are real and never would have happened without talking to Him first.
He takes what we struggle with and turns them into acts of love and compassion. Fight Him all you want. Question every possible solution, test them over and over again. God smiles because you are seeking Him and finding your way of life with Him.
What is Christ? He is the power of God's will and God's promise is that anyone who seeks Him will know Jesus and find life with Him. He knows who is truly seeking Him and that they are sincere in their quest for answers. Seeking God is different and happens when you are ready for change.
And when you do reach out to Him then you will find Him waiting. You will experience things that can only have come from Him. Your thankfulness will continue to grow and you will come to know that everything happening to you is because of Jesus.
It is not confusing, but an overwhelming joy because your life is overflowing with blessings from God. How could you have missed this for so long? You care about the people in your life, and you worry about the changes you are making. Can you have life with Jesus and still maintain those you love? The answer is, Yes, but will they freely accept the changes happening to you?
Christ is your strength and power. Through Him you will have the right words to speak. Moses was no one special. He was watching the sheep when God spoke to him. God asked him to go and do somethings for Him and Moses argued back saying he did not think he was the right person for the task. God told him that He would be there and that He would do miracles like no one has ever seen before. Throughout his life, Moses had his fair share of problems to deal with. Some made him very sad and he had to make some tough decisions, yet God never left his side. He talked with God daily about everything. Exodus chapter 33 talks about God speaking face to face with Moses, as a man speaks to a friend.
Moses is a great example of what happens to us when we speak to God. Try it! You will find the best friend you could ever have in Jesus. Your joy will always be with God who showers your life with a glow of happiness seen by everyone.
Thank You Father for Jesus. Thank You for hearing my hesitant cry. You are what I need now and forever. 😊

2 Timothy chapter 3 verses 16 and 17.
The whole Bible was given to us by inspiration from God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives; it straightens us out and helps us do what is right. It is God's way of making us well prepared at every point, fully equipped to do good to everyone.

John chapter 1 verse 14.
And Christ* became a human being and lived here on earth among us and was full of loving forgiveness and truth. And some of us have seen His glory---the glory of the only Son of the heavenly Father!
*   Literally, "the Word," meaning Christ, the wisdom and power of God and the first cause of all things; God's personal expression of Himself to men

John chapter 1 verses 10-13.
But although He made the world, the world did not recognize Him when He came. Even in His own land and among His own people, the Jews, He was not accepted. Only a few would welcome and receive Him. But to all who received Him, He gave the right to become children of God. All they needed to do was trust Him to save them. All those who believe this are reborn!---not a physical rebirth resulting from human passion or plan---but from the will of God.

John chapter 3 verses 16 and 17.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so that anyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. God did not send Jesus into this world to condemn it but to save it.
