Missing!

Which path do you choose to take? The one that is lit up makes it easier to find our way. Talk to God about everything and you will find the direction you need.

1 Corinthians chapter 1 verses 30 and 31.
For it is from God alone that you have life through Jesus Christ. He showed us God's plan of salvation; He was the one who made us acceptable to God; He made us pure and holy and gave Himself to purchase our salvation. As it says in the Scriptures, "If anyone is going to boast, let him boast only of what the Lord has done."

What is your day going to be like? Is it going to be happy or sad? Maybe it will be just like any other day, a day where the hours went by without any great affect. Maybe your restless and bored. Maybe you feel frustrated and worn down. Maybe you feel like you need to get away, but your responsibilities keep you restrained.
What is it you are looking for? Oh no, another winter is coming. The news tells us that it is going to be hard this year because everything, and I mean everything is increasing in price. A fear of what may happen has been installed in our minds. And even if it does happen what choice have we got but to get along the best we can with what we have been given.
It a pain to think that change has to happen and that our once peaceful, rich joy filled lives must adapt to the changes. What about our families and their future's? It is going to be hard enough for us to just make it through, from one day to the next, let alone the young people who have many years ahead of them yet.
Hopefully it is not going to come to protests and long line ups for food. Hopefully the greed of this world helps those who are in need. Hopefully we come out of the pandemic better than when we went in. Hopefully the world leaders get along and the troops are kept at home. There are many hope filled wants that we do not have any control over, except one. We are not alone!
It does get frustrating when circumstances attack our peace. We can bicker and maybe get angry, but doing that will not make things any better. You are the one who has to get up and do something. Sitting there is not going to help you. But what do you do? The thing is, we really do not know, if what we do, will help in any way. In 1 Corinthians chapter 10, the apostle Paul tells us that we should do everything to the glory of God, even our eating and drinking. So we should go about our day as we would any other day. Start off by talking with God, then face whatever the day may bring and watch as what we do helps in some small way.
Maybe you have a job, maybe you do not. Maybe your health is not good or maybe it is all just too much to deal with. There is so much that causes us to constantly adjust our day. You know that what you do will have an impact on others, and you know that what others do will have an impact on you.  Maybe yesterday was better than today and maybe tomorrow does not look any better.
You are not alone! God has made sure of that. Whether it be your family, a spouse or a care worker, you are not alone. Maybe you already know who God is, maybe you already have an idea about who Jesus is, maybe you do not want to know because it just adds to your already fretful life issues.
You like all your stuff and that makes you worry, as you guard closely what you have. God tells us that we are to trust in Him for the day. Jesus has shown us that by trusting in God amazing things can happen to us. You are not alone! God is with you. Talk to Him and follow your best paths. Let Him lead you and show you what He can do. It is through the way He works in your life that your life will come together with meaning and purpose.
The best years of your life are short lived. Use your time wisely. If you want to spend your time in making a difference than spend it in letting others know your place in life is with God. You do not have to shout it out but you can be humble and loving. Let Jesus be your example. He came from God and lived with God. You are God's child and He is there as any Father should be, teaching and caring for you.
We all have to deal with issues. It would be nice if each day was happy, but that does not happen. Our aging bodies are one example of issues we face daily. Isaiah chapter 26 talks about loving God for His mercies and grace. It talks about how happy we are to sing praises to the Lord for His love and blessings. Verse 12 says, "Lord, grant us peace; for all we have and are, has come from You"
If you are struggling then ask God for His help and do not just sit there waiting for something to happen. Get up and get moving. Start doing and not expecting. You won't see it coming but when something good happens you will know it is from God, because you talked to Him and He guided you.
Nothing is missing. It is all right there in front of you, Let God show you, live as Jesus did and be thankful, for you get to live in God's presence. Those who do harm, those who live in greed, those who think that they need to shout and argue are only hurting themselves. The peace that God gives is the peace that comes from life with Him.
Matthew chapter 7 says it best. "Don't worry" Verse 10 says, "And if God cares so wonderfully for flowers that are here today and gone tomorrow, won't He more surely care for you, O men of little faith?" Trust is hard to have, but if you can believe in God and that He wants to care for you then you will find, that He already knows your needs.
Verse 33 tells us that God already knows what we need and that He will give them to us if we give  Him first place in our lives and live as He wants us to. In the worst of our day's and in the best of our day's thank God for each and every moment you get to be with Him.
Thank You Father for Jesus. Thank you, for nothing is missing. You are the way, the truth and the life. 😊

1 Peter chapter 3 verses 8 and 9.
And now this word to all of you: You should be like one big happy family, full of sympathy toward each other, loving one another with tender hearts and humble minds. Do not repay evil for evil, do not snap back at those who say unkind things about you. Instead, pray for God's help for them, for we are to be kind to others, and God will bless us for it.

2 Kings chapter 2 verse 11.
As they were walking along, talking, suddenly a chariot of fire, drawn by horses of fire, appeared and drove between them, separating them, and Elijah was carried by a whirlwind into heaven.

Psalms chapter 34 verses 9 and 10.
If you belong to the Lord, reverence Him, for everyone who does this has everything he needs. Even strong young lions may go hungry, but those who reverence the Lord will never lack any good thing.
