You never would have seen yourself reaching out to God. Thank You Jesus!

1 John chapter 3 verses 1-3.
See how very much our heavenly Father loves us, for He allows us to be called His children---think of it---and we really are! But since most people do not know God, naturally they do not understand that we are His children. Yes, dear friends, we are already God's children, right now, and we can not even imagine what it going to be like later on. But we do know this, that when He comes we will be like Him, as a result of seeing Him as He really is. And everyone who really believes this will try to stay pure because Christ is pure.

Jesus was a human just like you or I, but He is also God's Son. Jesus made statements and did things that proved He had spiritual powers. How is it that He could have done the things He did without the help of God. He stated very clearly that it was God whom He represented, yet some of the people could not accept it because they knew where He was born and raised.
Was He a magician? or was He just lucky. Jesus had no reason to lie, in fact He stood His ground even when facing death. That must have astonished a lot of people when they saw His beaten body and crucifixion. There would have been no way for a normal human to withstand what He went through. In Luke chapter 23 while hanging on a cross, Jesus shouted out, "Father, I commit My spirit to You," and with those words He died.
Jesus believed that God was His Father and He tells us that we are also children of God, so that must mean that God is also our heavenly Father. If you can believe that then you will talk to God believing that He loves and cares for you as any father would his child. The only difference is that God is the almighty Creator of the earth, and the stars, the animals and the birds. The air you breath and the forests you enjoy, and the vast oceans are all from Him. So, now you are being called the child of the almighty Creator of all things. Fathom that!
It is quite hard to believe in spiritual power. Sometimes things happen that make us have questions, and most times we come up with some way to explain them. And that resolves that, no further thought is put into it. Especially not spiritual reasoning!
It is a struggle we have. We know that a lot of people believe in some sort of higher power. It helps to explain our existence and short life span. A lot of people believe in God as the Almighty. Everyday we deal with whatever comes our way and everyday we need to do our best to maintain self dignity. It is easy to get frustrated and form opinions, it is also easy to be left out. We do our best to fit in and get along but that does not mean we are happy and satisfied.
Finding peace of mind is up to you. No one will force you to do what you do not want to do. Maybe you will just accept and ride out your days as you see fit. God is real and He is there for you if you want Him in your life. Your reason is your hidden secrets and when the time is right maybe you will turn to Him and spill it all out. Letting the heavy weights you carry around fall off. It just feels good to let it all out. Especially when you can do it to God, whom you can't see, whom will not judge you, whom won't speak back and you believe is listening. Fathom that!
You, someone who has always been so independent and strong talking to God. Jesus went through more than any of us could ever do and He did it to serve God and to fulfill His plan. Your life is just as important to Him as Jesus' was.
Thank You Father for Jesus.  Thank You for being there as You promised. 😊

John chapter 7 verse 28.
So Jesus, in a sermon in the Temple, called out, "Yes, you know me and where I was born and raised, but I am the representative of the one you do not know, and He is Truth. I know Him because I was with Him, and He sent Me to you."

Colossians chapter 3 verse 12 and 13.
Since you have been chosen by God who has given you this new kind of life, and because of His deep love and concern for you, you should practice tenderhearted mercy and kindness to others. Do not worry about making a good impression on them but be ready to suffer quietly and patiently. Be gentle and ready to forgive; never hold grudges. Remember the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.

Matthew chapter 11 verses 29 and 30.
Jesus said, "Wear My yoke---for it fits perfectly---and let Me teach you; for I am gentle and humble, and you shall find rest for your souls; for I give you only light burdens."
