Big dreams

"Um! Excuse me, I have a question; Is this as good as it gets?" Talk to God and let Him know how you feel.

Titus chapter 3 verse 8.
These things I have told you are all true. Insist on them so that Christians will be careful to do good deeds all the time, for this is not only right, but it brings results.

What is it you dream of? It must definitely be bigger than you think you can handle, that is why it is a dream. The things we dream about are usually things we don't think we can do or accomplish. How many times have you tried something and failed to get the results you were looking for?
Living up to what others have accomplished is difficult. And the same goes for them, to achieve what you have accomplished. Trying to live up to what the public thinks you should be like, is not sensible. They give us ideas and goals to reach but you are your own individual and what you create will be different from what others do. There may be similarities but they will not be the same. That is why whatever you accomplish, you can be proud of.
I'm not talking about bragging but about your joy. It is good to inspire others with ideas from what you have done. And it is good to encourage them in what they achieve. We each have our own abilities and we should try to explore and push our limits to see what we can accomplish. How many times have you heard someone say, "You don't know unless you try."
It is also said, that we only touch upon our creative abilities. Creativity is whatever you do, that you never thought could have been done. It is a vision you had and you made it. You are blown away by what you did, and others like what you have done.
Sitting idle, hiding in a fog, hoping that something will happen can take a toll on us. At some point your dream will encourage you to step up and when it does, reach out. Learn what needs to be done, invest a little time and effort. Then watch for the results. If it is not what you expected then try adding to what you have learned, and with each effort you will get closer to achieving what you want.
Failure and disappointment can be a big set back. Remember you are not trying to live up to others expectations, only your own. God wants to see you achieve your dreams. And He has the power to give you what you need to be successful.
God wants to be first place in your life. He wants you to talk to Him about everything and He wants you to expect His help. Test Him to see if He will live up to His promises. My struggle was with alcohol and drugs. I enjoyed the pubs and the feeling of getting high, but it took it's toll over the years leaving me empty and alone. God walked me out of that.
With each step I took, I saw the results and believe me they did not come easy. That was my first and greatest achievement. After that each day brought new joy. With God all things are possible. If you have an idea of something you would like to achieve, try speaking to God about it. Tell Him you need His help, His wisdom, knowledge and understanding.
Take your problems and concerns to Him, and when you see the result of His hand upon your life, then be thankful. Tell Him how you feel, then step up and challenge yourself once again expecting Him to be with you. You deserve to be happy. Take the steps to trust in God and explore the new life He offers.
Thank You Father for Jesus. Thank You for dreams come true. 😊

Genesis chapter 28 verses 10-13.
So Jacob left Beersheba and journeyed toward Haran. That night when he stopped to camp at sundown, he found a rock for a headrest and lay down to sleep, and dreamed that a staircase reached from earth to heaven, and he saw angels of God going up and down upon it. At the top of the stairs stood the Lord. "I am Jehovah," He said, "the God of Abraham, and of your father Isaac.
Verse 15.
"What's more, I am with you and will protect you wherever you go, and will bring you back safely to this land; I will be with you constantly until I have finished giving you all I am promising."
Zechariah chapter 4 verses 6 and 7.
Then Zechariah said, "This is God's message to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord of Hosts---you will succeed because of My Spirit, though you are few and weak. Therefore no mountain, however high, can stand before Zerubbabel! For it will flatten out before him! And Zerubbabel will finish building this Temple with mighty shouts of thanksgiving for God's mercy, declaring that all was done by grace alone."

Ephesians chapter 2 verse 18.
Now all of us, whether Jews or Gentiles, may come to God the Father with the Holy Spirit's help because of what Christ has done for us.
