Unaware!

For every action there is a reaction. Take the steps to know Jesus and enjoy smiling.

Isaiah chapter 30 verses 9-11.
"Oh no," they will say, "you never told us that!" For they are stubborn rebels, They tell my prophets. "Shut up- we do not want any more of your reports!" Or they say, "Do not tell us the truth; tell us nice things; tell us lies. Forget all this gloom; we have heard more than enough about your 'Holy One of Israel' and all He says!"

Everyday life is not about going around talking about God to each other. No, it is about the sleepy eye's of waking up, the coffee to start the day and job in which we go to. It's about our morning jog, our eating right and choosing the right clothes to wear. It's about getting the kids motivated so that they too have brushed off the nights sleep, had something to eat and are ready for their day.
It's about organizing the day, so that you can get about doing what has to be done. It's about staying calm when the car in front suddenly brakes or swerves revealing the object you were not ready for. It's about listening to your coworkers talk on about nothing your interested in hearing. It's about the dead responses to your ramblings. It's about doing your job and not being distracted with others workloads.
Maybe you won the lottery or a crap load of money from the casino and you can't seem to wipe the smile from your face. Maybe your spouse gave you a gift of love and you can't stop thinking about it. Maybe one of your children did something that will be a forever memory, or you just wrote the last exam at school and are curious about the next steps.
Maybe your thoughts are occupied with deep sorrows and worries. Concerns that are generated from stuff that just haunt our every moment. Everyday we do our best to get along. We try common sense, we try listening to others and their guidance. We make rash decisions hoping that past experiences will keep us from failure.
Life can wear down even the most stubborn of people. You are tired and weary, worn by always having to be the one responsible. Your relief is found in a cup of tea and a good book. Maybe you would rather find it in a bar or drifting off as the drugs sink in. Maybe you find your relief in creative activities that challenge the mind or the great outdoors.
In order to be at peace there has to be a action taken by us. Even sitting and staring is an action that we choose. As a youth did you plan for the future or did you just wing it? Has your years been good to you? Are you happy? God is the same today as He has always been. He never falters from His promises or tries to be something other than what He claims to be.
You have stood your ground for a long time now. You hear what others say and you have decided that you know what is best for you. Yet, God never changes. He wants to hear from you, He wants to be part of your life but you are hesitant. You like some of the things you do and in other things you wish He was there. You are told that there is no half way, you are either in or out and that makes you leery.
Do you have to go to church? Do you have to read the bible? Are you expected to loose your friends only to meet goody two shoes, who is involved in serving the public? Those reasons way heavy upon you. You want to know God and yet there are things about the way you have to act that turn you off.
He hears your cries and knows your sorrows. He wants to comfort you and care for you. But the day returns and you make your coffee, get the kids ready and snarl at the guy next to you. You liked the relief and comfort of talking with God. You liked releasing your issues to Him and the insight of a plan to follow.
Thank You Father for Jesus. Thank You for the first steps we take with You. Thank You for Your grace, mercies and forgiveness. A big deep sigh of relief and a smile. Thank You. 😊

Isaiah chapter 30 verses 19-23.
O my people in Jerusalem, you shall weep no more, for He will surely be gracious to you at the sound of your cry. He will answer you. Though He give you the bread of adversity and water of affliction, yet He will be with you to teach you---with your own eyes you will see your Teacher. And if you leave God's paths and go astray, you will hear a voice behind you say, "No, this is the way; walk here." And you will destroy all your silver idols and golden images and cast them out like filthy things you hate to touch. "Ugh!" you will say to them. "Be gone!" Then God will bless you with rain at planting time and with wonderful harvests and with ample pastures for your cows.

Hebrews chapter 13 verses 20 and 21.
And now may the God of peace, who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, equip you with all you need for doing His will. May He who became the great Shepherd of the sheep by an everlasting agreement between God and you, signed with His blood, produce in you through the power of Christ all that is pleasing to Him. To Him be glory forever and ever. Amen.

Romans chapter 3 verses 23 and 24.
For we have all sinned and fall short of the glory of God and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
