What has He done?

"What are you looking at? I used to be miserable now I'm happy, and taking my steps with Jesus." Don't you just want to hug him! God is with you!

Exodus chapter 34 verses 5 and 6.
Then the Lord descended in the form of a pillar of cloud and stood there with him, and passed in front of him and announced the meaning of His name. "I am Jehovah, the merciful and gracious God," He said, "slow to anger and rich in steadfast love and truth. I Jehovah, show this steadfast love to many thousands by forgiving their sins."

We go through each day doing whatever it is that has to be done. We encounter many people and do our best to fit in. Maybe you are a little rough around the edges; using bad language and quick to judge others. Maybe you are opinionated and only retort with those who rub you the wrong way. Maybe you like to mind your own business and let others do all the work for you.
Maybe your life is based on the job you have. You work hard so you deserve to enjoy your downtime. We all have responsibilities whether we are a parent or a single person. Some have more than others, some like to help others, some like to bake in the sun by the pool or the lake. Some like to garden, while others enjoy shopping. Some find it hard to get out of bed, while others are up and out the door seeing the value of a hard days work.
Maybe you like to travel, maybe you are the stay at home type, maybe you like attention or maybe you only like it when you want it. Down time is important to you, because your body needs to recoup, rejuvenate itself. Maybe you are not someone who like to sit idle for too long or maybe you are very picky about the things that happen in your day.
1 Corinthians chapter 2 talks about how God is the one who opens our eyes of those called to salvation, to see that Christ is the mighty power of God to save them. It says that Christ Himself is the center of God's wisest plan for their salvation. Wow!
It all starts with you. The moment you decide to talk to God. And whatever that reason may be, it is your decision to seek what God is offering. Further in that same chapter it talks about God giving us His Spirit to tell us about the wonderful free gifts of grace and blessings that He is giving to us.
It can be hard to fathom, it will be something you are not used to and definitely something that others are not used to from you. Be careful now! Do not go out and start doing things that will deter you from the path of God. Your past was different, you are not used to the amazing love of God and it is going to take some time for you to understand, let alone others who know you so well.
You are not trying to change their lives. You are trying to understand what is happening to you. So why take on more than you can handle. The last thing you want to do is go against those you so dearly love. Let alone those who already mock God and Jesus. You may have been one of those, who like to make fun of believers, you had your opinions just as people still do, so what are you to do with what you started and He has done?
The first thing you do is let Him help you grow. Like the tiny mustard seed talked about in Matthew chapter 13; it grew into a tree where birds can come and find shelter. The Scriptures are full of comparisons of letting yourself grow with your new found knowledge. With each day that passes you will be thankful for the time you had with Him and look forward to what is to come.
The things that you thought might be tough and ruff turn out to be blessings from Him. The big difference in your life is how much you love God and what He is about to do next with you. The journey has begun and you have come onboard, so do not miss an moment of what is to come. Sit back, take it in and know that the Scriptures of Romans chapter 8 are true. "Nothing will ever separate you from the love of God demonstrated by our Lord Jesus Christ when He died for us."
Thank You Father for Jesus. Thank You for hearing our prayers and welcoming us into Your family. 😊

1 Corinthians chapter 3 verses 22 and 23.
God has given you the whole world to use, and life and even death are your servants. He has given you all the present and all of the future. All are yours. and you belong to Christ, and Christ is God's.

Isaiah chapter 53 verses 1and 2.
But, oh, how few believe it! Who will listen? To whom will God reveal His saving power? In God's eyes He was like a tender green shoot, sprouting from a root in dry and sterile ground. But in our eyes there was no attractiveness at all, nothing to make us want Him.

Luke chapter 4 verses 18-21.
Jesus read from the book of the prophet Isaiah; "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me; He has appointed Me to preach Good News to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted and to announce that captives shall be released and the blind shall see, that the downtrodden shall be freed from their oppressors, and that God is ready to give blessings to all who come to Him."
He closed the book and handed it back to the attendant and sat down, while everyone in the synagogue gazed at Him intently. Then He added, "These Scriptures came true today!"
