He is with you!

An amazing peace comes over you when you realize that God loves you and will forever be with you.

Luke chapter 22 verses 41-43.
He walked away, perhaps a stone's throw, and knelt down and prayed this prayer; "Father, if You are willing, please take away this cup of horror from me. But I want Your will, not mine." Then an angel from heaven appeared and strengthened Him.

How long are you going to resist? How many times are you going to try and fail? At what point will you drop to your knees and ask God for His help?
The angel came and strengthened Jesus and He will do the same for you. Overcoming something that seems helpless is the opportunity for God to help you. He wants to help and He wants you to know that it was Him who helped you.
It is only through achieving success that we can stand in awe of the one who gave you the needed strength to get up. You had to be strong and over and over again you sweated greatly, sometimes in agony and all to win the battle. And you did it! You knew that the only way for you to have been successful was through your constant prayer and strengthening from the Lord. Now don't let your guard down. Keep your focus on God, never leave home without Him. Do not go through anything without first knowing that you are doing His will and not yours.
You have achieved so much by overcoming the struggles that had a hold of you. And that it was only when you asked God for His help that you won the battle, and oh, how relieved you felt and how thankful you were.
You have tried so many times before to overcome temptation and life's challenges. You know how it wears upon you, how it ages you, how tired it makes you and leaves you feeling like "why me?"  There is so much effort and grief that comes from our daily battles.
In Matthew chapter 6 we are told not to worry about anything but to trust in God for everything. We are told not to be anxious about tomorrow, for God will take care of that too. The only way that you know that to be true is because He has helped you in the past. He has proven Himself to you and you will never forget that. He has done something for you that you were unable to do for yourself. And that left you amazed.
Test Him again. Never give up testing Him, for each time you trust in Him you are strengthening your faith. And it will get to the point where you will not find yourself asleep worn out by grief. You will be confident enough to always resist, ready and prepared to face whatever comes your way. And with common sense, and the knowledge and understanding from God you will know the right paths to take.
You are so happy, no longer controlled by the old ways of trial and error but trusting in God to lead you. Even when death and sickness try to attack, you know Jesus is with you and God hears your prayers. We may not always understand why things happen as they do but by trusting in God you will always know that He is there and forever will be.
God promised Jeremiah to be with him through the troubles that his life would have and oh, what troubles he faced. In Hebrews chapter 13 we are encouraged to stay away from temptations and desires. Verses 5 and 6 state; for God has said, "I will never, never fail you nor forsake you." That is why we can say without any doubt or fear, "The Lord is my Helper and I am not afraid of anything that mere man can do to me."
God's promises are real and Jesus knew to talk to God and trust that God would be there with Him. He has made the same promise to you and I and when you talk to Him, you will find Him listening and ready to help you. The joy that comes from trusting in God is the result of the happiness that comes from overcoming your trials with God. And He promises to be with you forever.
Thank You Father for Jesus. Thank You for Your love and saving grace. We are not to do any part of life without You. 😊

Psalms chapter 37 verse 4.
Be delighted with the Lord. Then He will give you all your hearts desires.

Luke chapter 22 verses 45 and 46.
At last He stood up again and returned to the disciples---only to find them asleep, exhausted from grief. "Asleep!" He said, "Get up! Pray God that you will not fall when you are tempted."

Luke chapter 22 verse 51.
"But Jesus said, "Do not resist any more." And He touched the place where the man's ear had been and restored it.

  1. Excellent encouragement. We usually never realize it really is a joyful moment when we stand up again after being down for even a moment. God bless you James!
