The Battle within.

It's so hard to get there, maybe you have been there before and long to get back. You wish you could stay forever. Jesus is your way to life in that place with God.

Isaiah chapter 6 verse 5.
For you have become a part of Him, and so you died with Him, so to speak, when he died, and now you share His new life, and shall rise as He did.

Can you believe it? You are being asked to believe in something you cannot see or touch! I makes no sense to you. How can something exist that is not physically here?
   That is the battle within.
Even to the most dedicated Christians there still is the fact that God is unseen and based upon faith. However to someone who has lived their lives doing as they please and never believing that there could be a Creator of all that we see and live among, it is a battle.
Are you trying to convince someone to believe in something that in their minds cannot possibly be true? That is treading on thin ice. You will either get their attention or they will walk away not wanting to have anything to do with such nonsense. Why do you believe? What is it that you could say to someone that could possibly make them to want to have the same faith that you have?
The story of Adam and Eve is a good story filled with love and happiness until the time came when disobedience led to discipline and harsh consequences. The Story of Jesus is an amazing story of sacrifice and love.
Is their stories enough to convince you that God is worth believing in? Do you believe that your life is a sinful life? Probably not, but when you look at it closely there are times that anger and frustration fill us with doubt and confusion. Why does life have to be so hard! Why are some people kind and caring while others are just mean in their words and actions? Why is there greed and judgement? Why can't life be peaceful and filled with joy? God wants you to know that it can be.
Through Jesus, God's mercies are filled with forgiveness. It is confusing and yet simple to grasp onto. God has been put there as a choice that you can make. The life you have has it's up's a downs, you are quiet aware that death happens and that we have the right to choose our thoughts and form our own opinions.
Maybe you are aware of who God is and what Jesus has done for us. Maybe you know where to turn when times are filled with sadness and questions. The battle is ongoing and you have chosen to trust in God to stand beside you and help you walk through all of life's battles. The battle is not the battles of life, the battle is between you and God. You want to trust Him, you want to believe that any changes that have come to you are blessings from God but you still do things that lead you to sadness and confusion.
It is only by trusting in Jesus that you can have life with God. And that trust comes as a result of you wanting to live in the presence of God. You don't wait until the next issue arises, you don't wait until you have dug a deep hole and seek His help to climb out. Instead you have called upon Him and He has answered your prayer, and you are so thankful, that you turn to Him daily for His guidance and love.
After all He is your heavenly Father who knows your every thought and desire. He is always ready to help you and care for you. He is ready because you are trusting in Him. He has welcomed you into His home and you have made the decision to stay living there.
You have wandered for way to long and have found yourself cornered in unsafe predicaments, not sure which decisions you should make or who to trust. You are no longer lost but living with God, walking with Jesus and sure that you are not alone anymore, to face any and all challenges.
The battle has been won. The all powerful, almighty God, the Creator of all, including you, is no longer a stranger but your place of peace and happiness.
Thank You Father for sending Your Son, Jesus. Thank You for the time that we get to spend thinking of what is good in people and ourselves. 😊

Philippians chapter 4 verses 8 and 9.
Fix your thoughts on what is true and good and right. Think about things that are pure and lovely, and dwell on the fine, good things in others. Think about all you can praise God for and be glad about it. Keep putting into practice all you learned from me and saw me doing, and the God of peace will be with you.

Psalms chapter 1 verses 1-3.
Oh, the joys of those who do not follow evil men's advice, who do not hang around with sinners, scoffing at the things of God. But they delight in doing everything God wants them to do, and day and night are always meditating on His laws and thinking about ways to follow Him more closely. They are like trees along a river bank bearing luscious fruit each season without fail. Their leaves shall never wither, and all they do shall prosper.

Romans chapter 5 verses 14 and 15.
What a contrast between Adam and Christ who was yet to come! And what a difference between man's sin and God's forgiveness.
