Leap of Faith.

Sometimes it is hard for us to accept the paths that our lives have led us to. Thank God that no matter where you are, Jesus is there for you and that can brighten any day.

Hebrews chapter 11 verse 8.
Abraham trusted God, and when God told him to leave home and go far away to another land which He promised to give him, Abraham obeyed. away he went, not even knowing where he was going.

To step into life with God means letting go of controlling every outcome and trusting in Him for the answers and guidance.
Trusting in someone other than yourself means you must agree that what you are trusting in is going to be the proper thing to do. You have always relied on your own hit and miss struggles and frustrating outcomes.
Having money to provide the necessities of life means that our decisions have to be cautious, so that we do not just throw away what we have worked so hard to get. One big issue is that everyone needs money in order to survive and that means sometimes we get taken advantage of so that others will gain from our lack of knowledge or the quick smooth talking tongue of greed.
Other issues are love and addictions. They can grab a hold of us causing nothing but heartache and grief. I'm not saying that life is one big sad place to live. It is when things happen to us and we are in a situation where we are fed up, tired and weary from searching for the answers. Wondering why things are this way. There must be something better.
You may question the existence of God. You may wonder "what if " ........ You are the one who fills in the blanks. You know there is peace when things are going well and that is because you are happy, not confused or upset. God is someone you can hold onto. His promises are true. You may not be able to physically see Him but you will surely know His presence in your life. Jesus prayed to God about everything and so should you.
The reason God is faithful to you is because you have chosen to be faithful to Him. That means you believe that He is with you always. That He will never fail you, deceive you or leave you. In Colossians chapter 2 verses 8-10 it says, "Do not let others spoil your faith and joy with their philosophies, their wrong and shallow answers built on men's thoughts and ideas, instead of on what Christ has said. For in Christ there is all of God in a human body; so you have everything when you have Christ and you are filled with God through your union with Christ. He is the highest Ruler, with all authority over every other power."
Each day we head out the door, it could be from a loving marriage, or it could be from a life that you are not happy in. Maybe you like your job or maybe you dread what the day is about to bring. The thing is, it feels good when we are content and happy, and life can make that hard to have all the time. The verse above tells us that by having Christ in our lives there is no doubt or question about our faith. You are not confused by what others say, you trust in God, just as Jesus did and it was through His triumph at the cross that your sins were taken all away.
Believing in Christ gives you hope and something to grasp onto. God promises to care for you and watch over you, as long as you put Him first place in your life. My life was a mess. I bounced from one relationship to another, I lost time in bars and drank alone. I had a good job, but no one to share it with. So with a prayer, I started a journey that forever changed my life.
I make mistakes because I lead with the wrong thoughts that are driven by human desires. So I ask God for His help and guidance. I thank Him for His Son Jesus and Salvation. If you do not ask then how can you expect to receive? And by asking it shows that you are trusting. Have patience and let the peace that Jesus brings, bless you with the love of God.
God knows your troubles. When you talk to Him about them you are showing Him that you need Him with you. The joy found in life is knowing without a doubt that the blessings of each breath, the things our eyes see and the words that reach out from us to others, are from God alone.
Thank You Father for Jesus. Thank you for faith and the solid ground on which we walk. 😊

Genesis chapter 12 verse 1 and 2.
After the death of Abrams father, God told him, "Leave your own country behind you and your own people, and go to the land I will guide you to. If you do, I will cause you to become the father of a great nation; I will bless you and make your name famous, and you will be a blessing to others."

Amos chapter 5 verse 8.
Seek Him who created the Seven Stars and the constellation Orion, who turns darkness into morning, and day into night, who calls forth the water from the ocean and pours it out as rain upon the land. The Lord Jehovah, is His name.

1 Peter chapter 3 verse 4.
Be beautiful inside, in your hearts, with the lasting charm of a gentle and quiet spirit which is so precious to God.
