God's mercy.

What's on your mind? Through Jesus, we can know without a doubt, that God has been and always will be there.

Exodus chapter 32 verses 9 and 10.
Then the Lord said, "I have seen what a stubborn, rebellious lot these people are. Now let Me alone and My anger shall blaze out against them and destroy them all; and I will make you, Moses, into a great nation instead of them."

The story of the Israelites is no different then the story of your life. In fact it may have been much worse, but that is not what salvation is about. Salvation is about God's love for people. He is the creator of all life and He would love if everyone knew that and would recognize the way He longs to care for us, His children.
People get so used to the way they live their lives and everyone is different. Some like exercise and eating well. Some fight the morning hangovers. Some are battling health problems and others may just like to sit and take in the world. Even if you do have a life with God and know who Jesus is, there will be times when your eyes or thoughts wander.
God has watched people trust in Him and then a moment later follow their own ideas. It could be that new item, or the desire of temptation. It could be the words someone spoke to you and how you retaliated or that person who got in your space and the look you gave them.
Moses followed God's leading and led the people of Israel out of Egypt by the mighty miracles of God. Now they were free from the tyranny of destructive lives. Free to worship God and to be thankful for all He has done. But as soon as they were left alone without the presence of Moses and leadership, they looked for something to grasp onto. Something that was not God for they felt He had abandoned them.
You may have called out to God and maybe God has made amazing changes to the way you see life. Yet we still have fears and anxieties. People may be aware of who God is but they chose to live life without Him. It is easy to grab onto the things we can buy, but soon after we lose interest in what we have and want more. It is only when we realize the struggles we are having, with being content, that we may seek to find what it is that we need to give us eternal peace.
God has made it possible through Christ for anyone to come to Him. Whatever your reasons may be for speaking to God, you have made the decision to try. The questions you may have about Him, and the reasons you bring to Him set you on a path of finding out for yourself what is true or not.
Is your stomach is in a knot, are you not sure which way to turn, are you so far into the hole that your troubles surround you constantly? Christ is there to grab onto. He is God's plan for you. The plan where you get to walk with Him, focused on Him and trusting in Him to guide you safely. It is the solid ground upon which you walk with Him, that takes what is wrong and making you uneasy, and gives you the hope of something better.
God's mercy is found in the way He welcomes you. It is when you see the changes that happen, that joy enters back into your life. You become amazed and awe struck, that a simple conversation could change everything around. What is written about God, what is spoken by others of whom God is and what has happened to their lives because of talking to Him, becomes clearly true to you.
It is not to say that you will not fail for you will. You will make decisions on your own and you will fall back into old habits, but God has touched your life through Christ. And because He has proven Himself to you, you will never forget that. He is with you always, there to pick you up and reassure you that it is only through trusting in Him that you will have a story to tell others about.
Thank You Father for Jesus. Thank You for hearing prayers. The prayers for help, the prayers for others, the prayers of thanksgiving. Thank You for Your love and mercies. 😊

John chapter 6 verse 63.
Jesus told them, "Only the Holy Spirit gives eternal life."

1 Thessalonians chapter 5 verses 16-18.
Always be joyful. Always keep on praying. No matter what happens, always be thankful, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

Philippians chapter 2 verses 5-
Your attitude should be the kind that was shown us by Jesus Christ, who, though He was God, did not demand and cling to His rights as God, but laid aside His mighty power and glory, taking the disguise of a slave and becoming like men. And He humbled Himself even further, going so far as actually to die a criminals death on a cross.
Yet it was because of this that God raised Him up to the heights of heaven and gave Him a name which is above every other name, that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
