Becoming!

Forever happy, with Jesus, in the presence of God.

Matthew chapter 7 verse 20.
Jesus told the crowds, "Yes, the way to identify a tree or a person is by the kind of fruit produced."

Stepping away from our old habits and into a life with God is a high in itself.
Our old ways were without God. We did not know Jesus. And since you came to God asking for help, you have set in motion a new way of living. A life where you want to trust in God to help you just as He did with Jesus and so many others.
It is not selfish to reach out to God who is offering Salvation through His Son, Jesus. You need help. You have exhausted all other avenues and you keep failing on your own. Why would you not want to reach out for a promise of happiness and peace? You are quick to jump on all other things that seem promising. Some work out and others are deceiving. They lure you in and then let your expectations down.
We try so hard to create peace. It helps justify our being here. It would be nice if each day was smooth with no interruptions or attitudes to deal with. We can not hide away from our responsibilities. We can however smile because God has given us Jesus. Our health may be failing. Worry and anxieties can fill our every moment. Our spending could be out of control. People want so much from us and it is hard to meet the expectations life wants from us. But we can smile.
It is for those very reasons that God has sent Jesus. You have an opportunity to become at peace in a world that has such high demands. It will require discipline and restraint but you are looking in the right place for the help you seek. You have tried to hold true values before but each time is only short lived. You quickly get bored or overcome with emotions and find it easier to turn back then hold strong to the hopes of Jesus.
Jesus can give us the good feelings of success and happiness but temptations and desires lure us with addictions and fears of not having. To be successful you need to hold tightly to your beliefs of your goals. James chapter 4 verses 7 and 8 tell us, "To give ourselves humbly to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and let your hearts be filled with God alone to make them pure and true to Him."
Those are great words that need to be used everyday and the way to resist is by talking to God about everything, all the time. Isaiah chapter 40 verses 27- 31, "O Jacob, O Israel, how can you say that the Lord does not see your troubles and is not being fair? Do you not yet understand? Don't you know by now that the everlasting God, the Creator of the farthest parts of the earth, never grows faint or weary? No one can fathom the depths of His understanding. He gives power to the tired and worn out and strength to the weak. Even the youths shall be exhausted, and the young men will all give up. But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not be faint."
After doing it on your own, when you can't take it anymore. When you have become worn out, tired and weary, talk to God and He will restore you. You will find Jesus waiting to help you and your strength will become your new solid ground. You can try Him out to see if He fits. And for you it may take sometime to find the right fit. To others you will see them walking in their new found life, smiling because Jesus has brought them salvation in God.
You can have more than you ever thought possible. You can become someone who is no longer bouncing from one circumstance to the next. It is all in life with God through Jesus Christ our Savoir.
Thank You Father for Jesus. I am becoming.............  Your's 😊

2 Corinthians chapter 13 verses 4 and 5.
His weak, human body died on the cross, but now He lives by the mighty power of God. We too, are weak in our bodies, as He was, but now we live and are strong, as He is, and have all of God's power to use in dealing with you. Check up on yourselves. Are you really Christians?  Do you pass the test? Do you feel Christ's presence and power more and more within you?

Psalms chapter 46 verse 10.
"Be still! Know that I am God!"

Psalms chapter 26 verses 2 and 3.
Cross-examine me, O Lord, and see that this is so; test my motives and affections too. For I have taken Your loving kindness and Your truth as my ideals.
