The perfect moment

There is an everlasting peace with Jesus and knowing God is with you. Soak it in!

 Isaiah chapter 30 verse 15.
For the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, says: "Only in returning to Me and waiting for Me will you be saved, in quietness and confidence is your strength: but you'll have none of this."

In 1 Kings chapter 18 we read how Elijah was doubted about who God is. People believed in these idols and thought that it was the idols who could help them in their times of need. Elijah told them to build their alters and to pray asking for them to show even the slightest of miracles. After hours of heart wrenching tears and even injuring themselves there was still nothing. Then Elijah built an alter with 12 stones, one for each tribe of Israel piled some wood and a sacrifice, which they did in those days, Then poured buckets of water over it all, not just once but 3 times leaving it well drenched. He then prayed, giving thanks to God, trusting in Him to give a miracle. God did not hesitate but heard His prayer and burned up everything so that not a drop of water was left.
Jesus has made it possible for us to experience the same miracles by believing that God can help us in our times of need. Following one trial and error after another has always left us frustrated and exhausted. God knows we do not have to struggle, yet we do.
All this talk about God and what He can do for us is hard to accept, yet so many people are talking about it. They talk about healing and forgiveness. They talk about being happy and living in peace. Why is it then that people want to shun the promises of God?
It is either that they are stubborn and do not want to accept the amazing thoughts, that such promises could be real or that they are unware of God's existence and do not know any better. Arguments and opinions are formed from being stubborn, does that make everything ok and leave you happy?
The perfect moment lies in what just happened to you and made you amazed. Those are the moments we never want to lose, they either become cherished memories or life changing events. Most of what we experience become memories. It is not to often that we have a life changing event.
What is a life changing event? Maybe it is going from being a teenager into adulthood. Maybe it is leaving home for the first time. Maybe it is being set free from something that has controlled your life for so long. Maybe it is having a baby, maybe it is marriage. Maybe it is your first car, and now you are no longer being held back, but ready to go at any time you wish.
These moments may be exciting at the time but in order to be happy with what has transpired, you need to hold onto to it and work hard to maintain it. So, what happens when you are threatened with losing what you have worked so hard to have?
Everyone is content when things are going smooth, but if you are questioned, challenged or even told you can no longer have your peaceful life, then watch out, for now out comes the hurtful words, and the struggle to hold on.
Jesus tells us to trust in God. Come to Him with your problems and trust Him to calm your racing thoughts. You do not have to wait until your troubles build up to the exhausted overwhelming point of losing hope. No, you can look at what you have right now and be thankful to God for all that you are. It is unfortunate that our circumstances put us into situations where we are not happy and feel frustration, but we can find hope in knowing that God is with us. That Jesus has made it possible for us to sit down and talk it out with Him.
Our perfect moments require strength and focus. When you give the glory to God for what has happened to you, then you will see that what has happened has been a planned gift for you all along. It is from that moment on that you see how God has been there always and how it is you who have wandered and tried so hard, struggling each time, to find the right paths to take.
Our perfect moments are meant to give us a glimpse of God's love and blessings. It is God and your joy that will forever give you the eye opening experience of seeing Jesus as the perfect moment. The moment that changed everything for you.
Thank You Father for Jesus and how we see that every moment is the perfect moment that You have given to us.  😊

Philippians chapter 3 verse 7.
"But all these things that I once thought very worthwhile---now I have thrown them all away so that I can put my trust and hope in Christ alone."

Psalms chapter 1 verses 1 and 2.
Oh, the joys of those who do not follow evil men's advice, who do not hang around with sinners, scoffing at the things of God, But they delight in doing everything God wants them to, and day and night are always meditating on His laws and thinking about ways to follow Him more closely.

Ephesians chapter 5 verses 15-18.
So be careful how you act; these are difficult days. Don't be fools; be wise; make the most of every opportunity you have for doing good. Don't act thoughtlessly, but try to find out and do whatever the Lord wants you to. Don't drink too much wine, for many evils lie along that path; be filled instead with the Holy Spirit, and controlled by Him.

Psalms chapter 34 verses 18-21.
The Lord is close to those whose hearts are breaking; He rescues those who are humbly sorry for their sins. The good man does not escape all troubles---he has them too. But the Lord helps him in each and every one. God even protects him from accidents.
