One gift after another!

We gather the flowers and add some greenery to create a beautiful bouquet that brings us happiness. Our thankful hearts gather the blessings of God and our joy is the happiness others see.

Luke chapter 5 verse 31 and 32.
Jesus answered them, "It is the sick who need a doctor, not those in good health. My purpose is to invite sinners to turn from their sins, not to spend time with those who think themselves already good enough."

Have you ever taken the time to see how many blessings you are given in any given day?
Most of us wake up, get dressed and start whatever the day is going to bring. We perform our tasks to completion and then take on another. There is a sense of accomplishment in successfully completing our chores.
Some days are better than others. It all depends on what is occupying our thoughts. There will be struggles if we cannot see the right paths to take. It is way easier to be a follower than a leader. As a follower you just have to do what you are told and any mistakes can fall upon the one who directed you and not on yourself.
Even as a follower, there is still an expectation that you will follow the directions you are given. So doing a good job and being a good listener and taking your time to follow closely what you are being told, is important. It means you are happy with the outcome and those who are guiding you, see your achievements.
When it comes to doing a project on your own, there is no one guiding you, only your own desires to be successful. That is when we learn what patience is. You have an idea and you want to be successful. You start out with a little knowledge, a plan that you see. You take your time trying so hard to not have any mistakes.
When they do happen, what is your reaction? Anger, frustration, the want to give up and not deal with it anymore? Maybe you learn from your mistake and are willing to try again. It is in that moment of trying again that you are thankful. Thankful for not just throwing away your idea. Seeing an outcome is an achievement. You feel good.
So, who are you thankful to? Yourself? Maybe it was God whom blessed you with the ability to reach your goal. It is so hard to not have a creative idea. Our minds think of something and it sparks our desires. It could be anything but it is a thought that started with you.
The question is; to what lengths are you willing to go to see your thought become reality? Our own abilities have led us to make many mistakes, some harder that others to recover from. After years of struggling with worry and sadness over making one mistake after another, do you not think it is about time for you to be happy?
The very first blessing of God is Jesus. The second is you. It is through Jesus that you will find peace and happiness. More than you could ever think possible. By following after Jesus, you will be led to a life of trusting in God for everything. He wants you to be successful, so that your thankfulness is to Him, and the happiness in your smile and actions, is seen by everyone.
God's blessings are never ending. Even in our times of failure and hardship, God is with you as you are held by Jesus. Trust is gained but when it is gained your happiness is seen in the joy given to you by His blessings. It truly is one gift after another.
I read this in my morning devotions and found it to be comforting. "At the end of your day all the gifts you have gathered, are that bouquet that God has given to you and with a thankful heart you lie down to rest in peace."
Thank You Father for Jesus. Your gift that has given a life of joy to all who walk with Him. 😊

Matthew chapter 6 verses 24-27.
Jesus told them, "You cannot serve two masters: God and money. For you will hate one and love the other, or else the other way around. So my counsel: Do not worry about things---food, drink and clothes, For you already have life and a body---and they are far more important than what to eat and wear. Look at the birds! They don't worry about what to eat---they don't need to sow or reap or store up food---for your heavenly Father feeds them. And you are far more valuable to Him than they are. Will all your worries add a single moment to your life?"

Mark chapter 3 verses 28-30.
Jesus told them, "I solemnly declare that any sin of man can be forgiven, even blasphemy against Me; but blasphemy against the Holy Spirit can never be forgiven. It is an eternal sin." He told them this because they were saying He did His miracles by Satin's power [instead of acknowledging it was by the Holy Spirit's power.]

1 Corinthians chapter 3 verses 19 and 20.
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness to God. As it says in the book of Job, God uses man's own brilliance to trap him; he stumbles over his own "wisdom" and falls. And again in the book of Psalms, we are told that the Lord knows full well how the human mind reasons, and how foolish and futile it is.
