The perfect spot to be!

Isaiah chapter 30 verse 18.
"Yet the Lord still waits for you to come to Him, so He can show you His love; He will conquer you to bless you, just as He said. For the Lord is faithful to His promises. Blessed are those who wait for Him to help them."

People cannot help themselves when it comes to problem solving and predicting an outcome. The human mind is always thinking and when challenged with a thought, it is already forming a plan to follow. It may not be the right plan but it gives us a direction. Some people jump at the first idea that enters their minds while others may take more time to understand all the facts in order to develop a strategic plan.
We would not be humans if we did not act as we do. Trusting in someone else is hard for us to do. First we need to be convinced that their plan is viable and safe then we will adjust what they have developed to suit our needs. No matter who you are, we all think for ourselves and have to trust in our plans so that we are comfortable.
It does not matter if we are followers of Jesus, believing in God. We may know that He hears our prayers, we may even experience His touch upon our lives but we still develop our own plans to suit the way we want the outcome to be. Everyday we wake up and begin a new journey. We do not know what we will face, we may have procedures that we follow, but we do not know all the facts and cannot predict temptation or human emotional responses.
For example, a heart attack or being cut off while driving. We do not know when someone will blurt out something inappropriate that will rub us the wrong way. Or maybe the complete opposite happens and it us who does something that sets someone else off creating frustrating emotions.
Time does seem to help us overcome and forget or forgive. Have you ever wondered how nice it would be to have all the right answers and how that would solve so many of your problems? We know, that even with God, He only allows us to have what He wants us to have, but He does love and care for us which has proven to help us more often than not.
We can't help following after our own inclinations, it is the human way. But if we are to trust in Jesus and hold close to living a life with God then we will see that He is there with us always. He wants what is best for you and He wants you to know that it is Him who is caring for you. He wants your love, praise and thanksgiving. He wants others to see how happy and content you are, so that they too become curious about what God can do for them.
It is God that will help you see the right answers for the right way to do something. That way you and others around you will see your confidence in trusting Him. Talk to God about everything, He wants to help. You may seek the proper guidance from books and the internet, for all experiences have been tried and proven before, but it is God who will help you find exactly what you seek, for your situation and the growth of others. It is through your successes, your trials and errors that He shines out the best in you.
When you are fed up with something and tired and worn out. You can try to convince yourself of the feel better solutions or you can get the everlasting love of Jesus. Your world does not have to change, all you are doing is inviting God to walk with you, just as Jesus did. He is the one who can heal your heart. He is the one who you will want to be with. And it is He who can provide what you need.
It is His light in your eyes that you will feel and others will love. Peace is not easy to find. You may find a quiet spot, you may close your eyes, you may even get a restful refreshing sleep. But to give a mind the peace and rest that it needs requires more than just taking our bodies away to a quiet place. Everything we experience creates a thought. God knows what we struggle with and He is the only one who can provide just what you need.
Dreams, nightmares, questions, problem solving will always be with us. They keep us alert and weary. God is a home, a place of refuge. Jesus calls us to come and He will take us there. He can be called upon at anytime and once you have found your home in Him, you will understand. Your body lives in this world doing all the things that this world challenges you with, but you are doing it with God.
That little fact of God being with you changes everything. He is there to guide you and watch over you, just as any loving Father does with His child.
Thank you Father for Jesus. Thank you for peace of heart, mind and soul. There is a new day to be had and an everlasting love to be enjoyed. 😊

John chapter 14 verse 27.
Jesus said; "I am leaving you with a gift---peace of mind and heart! And the peace I give is not fragile like the peace the world gives. So do not be troubled or afraid."

1 Kings chapter 8 verse 23.
"O Lord God of Israel, there is no god like You in heaven or earth, for You are loving and kind and You keep Your promises to Your people if they do their best to do Your will.

Isaiah chapter 12 verses 1 and 2.
On that day you will say, "Praise the Lord! He was angry with me, but now He comforts me. See God has come to save me! I will trust and not be afraid, for the Lord is my strength and song; He is my salvation."
