Are you there?

James chapter 1 verses 2-4.
"Is your life full of difficulties and temptations? Then be happy, for when the way is rough, your patience has a chance to grow. So let it grow, and don't try to squirm out of your problems. For when your patience is finally in full bloom, then you will be ready for anything, stronger in character, full and complete."

Everything is going great, you are happy and there is no where else you want to be than where you are at. Then suddenly along comes an issue that tries to interrupt your wonderful plans. You try to hold your composer but it is very difficult. Everyone knows how easy things are when they are going good but it does not take much to turn that goodness into trials of worry and emotions.
You know that there are going to be upsets and you do your very best to avoid them. However you cannot control the way the world and our health act. It has been proven that when we try to control everything, we run into road blocks that need our full attention to maneuver around. We do our best using the least amount of energy as possible and yet sometimes there are complications that require thought and time. It can be exhausting and we do our best to not get frustrated.
We can become angry and caught in a rut. It seems like there is no way out. It seems like we have lost our happiness and think that maybe, things will never return to the way they were before. You know that life will continue on, so you learn to bask in the memories you hold dear. It is what you do each day that makes life bearable.
There are always people around us. Some we work for and others are friends or family. We do not mind helping and giving our best. But pleasing others is only a small part of who we are. Real peace and joy are found in the things we enjoy. Maybe it is our achievements, maybe it is something that you have created. When something is accomplished then we feel good about it.
You can give yourself the praise for the accomplishments or you can step back and see clearly that your wisdom and your guidance is all a result of God's wonderful love for you. God cares and wants you to know that it is He who gives you success. And the more you see God's hand in your life the closer you become to Him.
As you become thankful for the small things, you realize how amazing God is. And that is when you start to see Jesus and understand who He is and what He is offering. It may seem like we are alone to deal with the daily challenges. You know, the simple things that make us frustrated and hold us back from getting our own way. It is the words we speak that can give us the most hassle. It is our internal battle for the direction we need. You can hide and not face what is there, you can try to find the answers on your own or you can ask for help.
Seeking help from others gives us an insight that we may have not thought of. But we still are left with trying to distinguish the best direction to take. God does not want to see us struggle. He wants us to be free from the worries and anxieties brought on by daily issues. And He does that by clearing the paths ahead so that the only thing we see is His Son, Jesus.
Jesus, provides the direction so that we know all is from God and He is with us. There are going to be challenges, trials and heartache but with God you will see that you are not alone. It is when we realize that every moment of our day, is living under the watchful eye of our heavenly Father, who wants so bad to hear you say thank you. He wants you to trust Him, to talk to Him and to wait patiently for His help.
It is through your trust in Him, that your love for Him and desire to hold close to Him amazes you. How could you not have seen this before?
Thank you Father for Jesus. So much time has been wasted, thank You for Your forgiveness and grace. 😊

2 Corinthians chapter 12 verses 9-11.
Each time God answered, "No. But I am with you; that is all you need. My power shows up best in weak people."
"Now I am glad to boast about how weak I am; I am glad to be a living demonstration of Christ's power, instead of showing off my own power and abilities. Since I know it is all for Christ's good, I am quite happy about "the thorn," and about insults and difficulties; for when I am weak, then I am strong---the less I have, the more I depend on Him."

John chapter 8 verses 42 and 43.
Jesus told them. If that were so, then you would love Me, for I have come to you from God. I am not here on My own, but He sent Me. Why can't you understand what I am saying? It is because you are prevented from doing so!

Psalms chapter 16 verse 11.
"You have let me experience the joys of life and the exquisite pleasures of Your eternal presence."

Psalms chapter 27 verse 14.
"Don't be impatient. Wait for the Lord, and He will come and save you! Be brave, stouthearted and courageous. Yes, wait and He will help you.
