Why Change? You want, what I have!

To many years have gone bye. Now I am in Your home, warm and content. Thank you Jesus!

Psalms chapter 112 verses 7-9.
He does not fear bad news, nor live in dread of what may happen. For he is settled in his mind that Jehovah will take care of him. That is why he is not afraid, but can calmly face his foes. He gives generously to those in need. His deeds will never be forgotten. He shall have influence and honor."

Peace comes in many forms and is the focus of everyone. If we have peace then we are happy and content. Basking in the joy of no worries.
Think of a time when you were totally at peace. Maybe you were sitting on the deck, looking out at your beautifully manicured lawn and gardens. Maybe you were thinking of how proud you are of your family and their accomplishments. Maybe you are being successful at your current task and all is going smooth according to plan and just they way you like. The music is right, the sun is shining, your humming a favorite tune, you feel good.
It would be nice if that peace could last and continue from day to day. It's our focus that gets distracted. We get interrupted by life issues and the silly thoughts that we have. We tend to speak out our minds causing hurt and grief. Each of us have our own way of achieving peace, and oh how miserable we become when our thoughts are redirected.
It is that searching for "something" that is missing from our lives that drains our self-confidence, that makes us feel tired and weary. People look in the craziest of places, thinking that if they find it in love or in money or in their own created idea, "it" will fill that gap of neediness.
But no matter what they try, even if they achieve the goal of love or money or that created idea, they quickly get bored and that is when jealousy, greed or envy come once again. It is a vicious circle that so many people get caught up in and end up blinded to what is right there in front of them and has been all along.
Jesus knew His direction and how at peace He was with God. He had somewhere to turn to. He knew with no doubt that God, is where He wanted to be. Everything about us changes when God enters into our lives. We become focused on His Light. We get to know Jesus and what He is all about. We see everything differently, yet the world around us has not changed, only we have.
Family is the most welcoming place. They are the people who know you the best and that you feel comfortable being around. You still have your own life but your family know you and will always have an open spot for you. Jesus welcomes all who call upon Him and believe in their hearts that He is there for them, ready to listen and love them.
The family of God is a never ending, never failing love that will constantly forgive and is ready to guide and protect you. Everyday we face the challenges of others and our own desires. You so appreciate the ones who listen and care about you, but there will be times when they are caught up in their own affairs and cannot be there for you when you want them to. God is always with you! Talk to Him and you will find Him listening. You will feel the troubles melt away and replaced with the warm feeling of contentment.
You will be in awe, thankful for His guidance. Your confusion will be replaced with the confidence of no longer being alone, but being in the presence of almighty God. You have not given up anything. You are seeking answers and help and have found that God sent Jesus so that you could find your place in His family.
Thank you Father for Jesus. Thank You for knowing my life. Thank You for allowing me to hold Your door open. 😊

1 Thessalonians chapter 5 verses 8 and 9.
"But let us who live in the light keep sober, protected by the armor of faith and love, and wearing as our helmet the happy hope of salvation. For God has not chosen to pour out His anger upon us, but to save us through our Lord Jesus Christ; He died for us so that we can live with Him forever, whether we are dead or alive at the time of His return."

Hebrews chapter 2 verse 14.
"Since we, God's children, are human beings---made of flesh and blood---He became flesh and blood too by being born in human form; for only as a human being could He die and in dying break the power of the devil who had the power of death."

Hebrews chapter 2 verses 14-18.
Only in that way could He deliver those, who through fear of death, have been living all their lives as slaves to constant dread. We all know He did not come as an angel but as a human being---yes, a Jew. And it was necessary for Jesus to be like us, His brothers, so that He could be our merciful and faithful High Priest before God, a Priest who would be both merciful to us and faithful to God in dealing with the sins of the people. For since He Himself has now been through suffering and temptation, He knows what it is like when we suffer and are tempted, and He is wonderfully able to help us."

Galatians chapter 5 verses 25 and 26.
"If we are living now by the Holy Spirit's power, let us follow the Holy Spirit's leading in every part of our lives. The we won't need to look for honors and popularity, which lead to jealousy and hard feelings."
