The Right Place.

There is a place where Jesus is waiting to hear from you. God's house, your home.

Micah chapter 9 verse 9.
"God will bring me out of my darkness into the light, and I will see His goodness."

Our past lives have no bearing on our present or the future. There will be good memories to hold close and dear in your heart. There may be unfinished regrets or sadness from not speaking the right words. But they are the past. If you can, you should make right what was left undone.
Memories are good to have but the present is where you are now. What has gone by is behind you. There is a joy to be had and God wants you to know that it can be yours through Jesus. It is not uncommon to hide from the thoughts that constantly nudge at us. It is how we deal with those thoughts that has an affect on who we are.
Keeping busy helps. Stifling them with drugs and alcohol only leads to health problems and misty hangovers. You can ignore them and hopefully they will not build up inside you, which can make you live on the edge, always judgmental and argumentative.
God can only be seen in a clear mind. It is in His presence that you will experience His peace, His love, and a joy that you never thought possible. Our past lives are memories that will never be forgotten. The things we encounter today will join our memories and become experiences that we will always have with us. So how can we ignore what is real and has happened?
We are not expected to ignore them, we are to live with them and talk to God about everything that temps us or confuses us. We are to share our memories of joy and happiness. We are to share the good times and the bad times. We are to live in the music we grew up on. We are expected to trust in God and use His wisdom and the strength He gives us to act appropriately with what we have left behind. We are to respect God and love the salvation Jesus has brought to us.
Even with family, friends and a loving spouse there still seems to be the want of knowing we are loved and cared about. You can have the best job and a good life with all the stuff you want but if there is no definite path to lead us than there will always be struggles. Jesus has shown us the way. God has forever been trying to have us trust in Him. When you walk the path of life with Jesus you will know, without any doubt, the direction you are heading.
And by being in that place with Jesus, you get to reap the blessings of God that He gives to His children. Our minds will never forget all the good memories and the smiles that they have given us. We tend to hold onto the good memories more than the bad ones, because the good times are better, more pleasant to be with, than the memories we would rather forget.
Well, that is the way everyday can be. Having life in the good times rather than bitterness or resentment. It sounds like a fairy tale life, that is made up and not real. A life that is hiding from mistakes made rather than facing our errors and problems.
Deep down we want to be living in peace, but life prods, pokes and taunts us, preventing that from happening. God knows this and that is why He has given us Jesus. And by being thankful to God for Jesus, we are able to live with all that fills our thoughts. He is the ray of hope that has His hand out to you, offering peace and refuge.
Not just a one time encounter but a promise to always be with you, forever. He will be there providing the right thoughts to have, when temptation presents itself and grief and sadness knock at your doorstep. The ups and downs of life do not stop or go away. Mistakes will continue to be made, but you are sure that the promise of God, who is Jesus, is always with you.
It shows in your physical happiness, it shows in your health, it shows in your thankfulness and trust in seeking God's help. Daily living goes on, we continue to age and pay bills but we are no longer alone in walking the path of life. If there is a deviation because of temptation or greed then there is also the reminder of your place with Jesus. He is always ready to keep you focused on God's love and care for you.
The stress we feel, by the demands put upon us, can weigh us down. They can cause us to be fogged by the current work load, losing our happiness and joy. But those feelings are quickly overlooked as the grumbling is turned back to the confidence of life with God and walking with Jesus. God almighty is your joy, not the demands of this world.
You still have to deal with them, but you do it with the thoughts of a new adventure and the gaining of wisdom. Always remember, that trials and temptations will be a constant battle, but now you are no longer alone in having the strength and direction needed to see your way through. That is the joy seen in your face by others. That is the happiness you feel because Jesus is the song in your heart. The praise and worship you give when guided away from grief.
In Matthew chapter 4; Jesus is tempted by Satin and asked to do things that would go against the will of God. Before Jesus came into our lives there was only hope, but you did ask for help and do experience God's love and are now prepared to face the good and the bad.
God knows that by overcoming the pressures of this world, you know it was Him who helped you. The place where you want to look and trust, instead of relying upon your own hit and miss attempts at successful peace. Stand firm and strong in the refuge of His peace knowing that you are God's child.
Thank You Father for Jesus and our place of peace and happiness with You. 😊

Colossians chapter 3 verses 15-17.
Let the peace of heart that comes from Christ be always present in your hearts and lives, for this is your responsibility and privilege as members of His body. And always be thankful. Remember what Christ taught and let His words enrich your lives and make you wise; teach them to each other and sing them out in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing to the Lord with thankful hearts. And whatever you do or say, let it be as a representative of the Lord Jesus, and come with Him into the presence of God the Father to give Him your thanks.

Hosea chapter 14 verse 9.
Whoever is wise, let him understand these things. Whoever is intelligent, let him listen. For the paths of the Lord are true and right, and good men walk along them.

Revelation chapter 21 verse 7.
Everyone who conquers will inherit all these blessings, and I will be his God and he will be My son.

Job chapter 1 verse 21.
"I came naked from my mothers womb," he said, "and I shall have nothing when I die. The Lord gave me everything I had, and they were His to take away. Blessed be the name of the Lord."
