Makes sense!

Psalms chapter 119 verse 105.
"My Word is a lamp to your feet and a light for your path."

Jesus is the Word and it is He who takes you by the hand and guides you.

What idols are you holding onto? Thinking that they are the normal and how you long to escape from them, but you do not know where to look. There must be something better than just working, and  coming home either to an empty house or to your family. Age and sickness can snatch away from us the little bit of joy we have.
Is pleasure and satisfaction found in vacations, spending money, socially drinking and then waking up to do it all over again? There is goodness in friends and helping others but just like the other stuff, attitudes and ungrateful hearts can take away that joy.
So you go through life from one moment to the next making the best of what you think is normal. You would like things to be different and maybe there is a possibility of happiness but you cannot seem to find it and hold onto it.
Maybe you have come to the point of being fed up. Maybe in some secluded moment you call out to God thinking that He will do some miracle to help you. But you brush Him off quickly when your thoughts return to doubt. God is there and He is listening. He sent Jesus as your way to salvation and eternal peace.
Jesus is the Light onto your path that helps you see God and His love. It is through Him that you see clearly, the way free from sadness and confusion. He is the light that shows you how wonderful you are to God and that your life is not a mess but, can be pleasing to Him. It is through Him that you will see the beauty of all His creations.
Your job, your family and your friends are all so important to you and to Him, you just need to see how dear they are to Him and how important your love for Him really is. What you think is never possible, suddenly becomes achievable.
Who is it that encourages you? Is it someone close to you or is it yourself? We all need to feel accepted, in how we live, from day to day. When we feel wanted and encouraged by others for things we have done then we feel good and like we belong. Even Jesus needed encouragement and He got that through talking to God in prayer.
Feeling like we belong strengthens us. It can be our very reason for getting up each day and for having such a good attitude. When we are feeling good then others around us can feel it too. Now, you may be thinking that you do have good days, but there are also the bad days. Well that is normal. It is when the bad days seem to be holding on that we are distracted from God and being thankful to Jesus.
Getting yourself back to feeling good is important, because it is in that place that we are able to make the most sense of daily living, where everything is where it should be and we are at peace. We are at our best when our hearts are at ease. That is God's plan for all people. He wants you to know Jesus and that through Him you can come and have life with Him. There is only one thing God wants you to know and that is, His love for you.
It is His love for us that He works His best through. It is our happiness and gratefulness that gives Him satisfaction. And when we see that it is God who directs each step we take, then we are filled with thanksgiving. Song fills our hearts. And we start to realize how wonderful God really is.
Take a moment and think are you truly happy? Is all that you are, what you would expect it to be? No matter who you are everyone wants the best for you. Get to know God and you will find Jesus. There is an everlasting joy waiting to fill your heart, where you will be forever at peace.
Thank you Father for Jesus and a place where we can come and find the love we have so longed for. 😊

Psalms chapter 19 verses 12 and 13.
"But how can I ever know what sins are lurking in my heart? Cleanse me from these hidden faults. And keep me from deliberate wrongs; help me to stop doing them. Only then can I be free of guilt and innocent of some great crime."

Deuteronomy chapter 4 verses 28-30.
"There, far away, you will worship idols made of wood and stone, idols that neither see nor hear nor eat nor smell. But you will also begin to search again for Jehovah your God, and you shall find Him when you search for Him with all your hearts and souls. When those bitter days have come upon you in the latter times, you will finally return to the Lord your God and listen to what He tells you."

James chapter 1 verses 17 and 18.
"But whatever is good and perfect comes to us from God, the Creator of all light, and He shines forever without change or shadow. And it was a happy day for God when He gave us our new lives, through the truth of His Word, and we became as it were, the first children in His new family."
