Talk to Him!

John chapter 17 verses 14-
Jesus said to God in prayer; "I have given them Your commands. And the world hates them because they don't fit in with it, just as I don't. I'm not asking You to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from Satan's power. They are not part of this world any more than I am."

Jesus spoke to God and God listened. Just as it is when you speak to God. Troubles will always be with us, but it is God who is asking us not to focus on the troubles but to bring them to Him and leave them in His mighty and powerful hands.
Trust is not and easy thing to have when you cannot see the direction you need to go. But what if you did fully trust in God to steer you in the right direction? What if you were to blindly give your faith to Him and then watch as He walks with you?
How amazed you are, when you see that all your worry and lost time on concern, was for nothing. I don't mean you are not prepared, by trying your best to find the direction you need. No, the reason you are amazed is because you realize that it is God, who has directed you, and He did that because you trusted in Him. Your amazement is filled with joy and happiness. You are overcome with thanksgiving.
God is real and He is waiting for you to speak to Him. He is waiting for you to be so filled with thanksgiving and joy that you are not seeing anything, but life with Him. Is He the first thought you have in all situations? He should be! And if He isn't then go to Him as quickly as you can. That is when you will see Jesus and understand how amazing God's love is.
When you live your life filled with God, you will know that there is no other place for you to be. You will see clearly that you have had a life without God and how mixed up it was. You are so thankful for where you are now; and each time when the old ways come back to attack you, your thoughts quickly return to Jesus and joy of God's love.
All of this is possible because you have accepted Jesus as your Savior and teacher. All because Jesus has left you with His Holy Spirit, whom fills your heart and thoughts with truth and understanding. Jesus was misunderstood by people. Some liked what He talked about, but found it hard to fully accept all that He was saying. You will find that also. No matter how much you try to convince people of the amazing life they can have with God; there will be those who have a hard time fully believing.
The world is filled with sparkly things and the draw to find joy. It can be a never ending search which creates all sorts of anxieties and concerns. So, you continue to seek peace and never finding it.     You have found that there is freedom and peace in God. You have found Jesus and understand His love for people. You are filled with amazement and joy at your life with God. God is seen by others in you. They know your love for Him. Maybe they will find their way and maybe they won't, but you are there, ready when they are. Just as Jesus has worked through you; you are to work hard, in the life that you have, with Jesus.
I remember the time when I finally did ask God for help out of trouble; It was not my salvation from a lifetime of walking the wrong paths, but a simple trust that I needed His help to overcome some issue. I thought, I'm going to ask and really believe that He, this God, who keeps telling me to trust in Him, will help me. And He did!
Only I knew what He had done, and it was that simple little bit of help that made me see clearly, how real and how powerful our God really is. My eyes had been opened and all because I asked for His help, believing that He would help me. I was overcome with thanksgiving and joy. Jesus is the rock on which I stand, where I know that I am safe and that I have a place to belong.
Thank You Father for Jesus. Thank You for taking hold of us and pulling us into the safety of life with You. 😊

John chapter 17 verses 17-20.
Jesus prayed to God asking; "Make them pure and holy through teaching them Your words of truth. As You sent Me into the world, I am sending them into the world, and I consecrate Myself to meet their need for growth in truth and holiness. I am not praying for these alone but for the future believers who will come to Me because of the testimony of these."

James chapter 1 verses 5-
"If you want to know what God wants you to do, ask Him and He will gladly tell you, for He is always ready to give a bountiful supply of wisdom to all who ask Him; He will not resent it. But when you ask Him, be sure that you really expect Him to tell you, for a doubtful mind will be as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind; and every decision you then make will be uncertain, as you first turn this way and that. If you don't ask with faith, don't expect the Lord to give you any solid answer."

2 Corinthians chapter 4 verse 17
"These troubles and sufferings of ours are, after all, quite small and won't last very long. Yet, this short time of distress will result in God's richest blessing upon us forever and ever! So, we do not look at the what we can see right now, the troubles all around us, but we look forward to the joy's in heaven which we have not yet seen. These troubles will soon be over, but the joys to come will last forever."
