Step into the Light.

Hebrews chapter 12 verse 3.
"If you want to keep from becoming fainthearted and weary, think about His patience as sinful men did such terrible things to Him. "

I would like you to picture a black hole. It can be as large or as small as you would like it to be. Black holes are known in the scientific world as a place that leads to unknown places and continually is sucking in all that comes close to it.
The things that are not close to it do not have any affect from it, but the closer you get to the black hole the more draw there is to it and if there is nothing stronger to hold objects away from it, then they get drawn in and face wherever it takes them. It is a great example of what life with God can be like.
Just imagine, that deep inside the hole there may be no hope of seeing true peace and happiness. The closer you get to the outer edges of the hole, light can be seen and so, begins the hope of reaching that place of eternal light. At times our own lives can seem empty, filled with questions and the want for a better life.
There is always hope, for there are people who have stepped into the light. They are the ones who so badly want to share with you what they are experiencing. Jesus is that Light and through Him everyone has the ability to be lifted up and brought into a life with God.
God knows how hard it is to let go of all the neat stuff that keeps holding us in an endless circle of temptation and desire. From spending money and accumulating things, to vacations and the never ending search for youth. It would be nice if there was peace in all that, but there is not.
It can be a never ending battle to hold onto what you have. You struggle to pay back what you owe and how much time is wasted on keeping a close eye on your possessions, so that others do not take them away from you. All you can do is watch as things wear and wither away.
Jesus is the peace, that we so long to have. There is no more searching. Through Him you come to live in God's presence and get to know the joy and happiness of no longer being lost. Trust Him and find out for yourself.
All the things, you think, are so important to have, the things that you are holding so tightly onto, they are what is holding you back from seeing the glorious light of life. To you they are real, they are the very essence of who you are. If you did not have them then you would be struggling to find the necessities of living. So when someone tells you there is something better, that you need to let go of what you know works for you and sustains you, then why would you want to look?
Sometimes you experience a feeling of hope. A place where you are at peace. Even with all the stuff you have accumulated, you know there must be a peace to be had. Well! that's God trying to show you, that is Jesus reaching out to you.
But, you know what is best for you! If you take their hand, if you follow after their ways, if you reach out seeking love or help, then it would change everything. And that is very hard to do! You may have struggles but you are not in the end times yet. You are not so desperate that you need to call out for something better.
One moment you are happy, the next you want that happiness back. You have your own opinions, let alone the opinions of others to deal with and then there are arguments. No matter how much you have there is always an empty space.
God knows our struggles that is why He is offering you peace and happiness through His Son, Jesus. You can continue to live as you think best or you can let Jesus stand along side you. He will always be with you and you can always count on Him. Now and forever!
Let Jesus lift you up and place your feet on that solid ground, where you will know for sure, the wonderful happiness of where you belong. God is your home and refuge. Through sickness and the trials of others attitudes that are rubbing you the wrong way. No matter the stuff of the world and how it tries so hard to get a hold of you, your life is with Jesus, living in the presence of God.
Thank You Father for Jesus. Thank You that through Jesus there is the availability of life with You.😊
