Listen closely.

John chapter 12 verses 44-46.
Jesus shouted to the crowds, "If you trust Me, you are really trusting God. For when you see Me, you are seeing the one who sent Me. I have come as a Light to shine in this dark world, so that all who put their trust in Me will no longer wander in the darkness."

There were people that were facing utter disaster and death each day. They suffered terribly at the hands of the rich and powerful. They did not have any sort of life, they were starved and forced to work in the most worst of conditions. People cried out to God desperately seeking His help and love.
So He sent Moses to tell them that God had heard their cries and that He was going to lead them into Salvation. So God, preformed amazing miracles and then showed Himself in the pillar of fire, leading those people to safety and the opportunities of a new life, new beginnings.
It is a famous story that has been told for generations. People soon fell away from God again, even though He had given them all that He promised. Now lets skip ahead to Jesus, He was God's Light sent again to help the people in their times of trouble. The prophets had been writing the Scriptures for years stating the coming of the Messiah. People who payed attention had an idea of this but still had a hard time accepting what Jesus was telling them.
God has loved people ever since He created them and the earth. It is where they are to live and enjoy what God has given to them. But people found it easier to follow their own created ideas, which has lead to greed and anger. They mistrust each other and get jealous over each others possessions. It really is too bad, because God makes it easy and plain. Trust in Me and I will take care of you.
People had wandered so far away from God that it seemed His only way would have been the total initialization of all mankind. Why not? He created them and He has the power to do as He feels. The problem is; God loves what He has created. He loves people and so He sent Jesus to live among the people. He sent Himself to be seen and heard. They had the choice to believe in what Jesus was saying and the amazing proof of God being with them. Still most had a hard time accepting the truth.
The difference between the first time God came to rescue people and the second time was, total and forever forgiveness. And this is made available to anyone who believes that Jesus is God's Son sent to be our savior. To those who had an interest and began to seek the truth about Jesus, than God made it possible for them to see and understand.
There is no difference from years ago and today. People still have doubts and make up their own opinions as to why there is turmoil and failing health. They ask the same questions as others have before. Why does God allow things to go on as they do, if He really cares that much about us? Well, have you given God any reason to love and care for you? Do you show interest and love for Him? If you did than you would be seeking His guidance everyday in all you do.
Imagine for a moment; the most powerful loving God, who cares so much for you that you could never have thought that anyone could love and bless you that much. So much that it bewilders you. So much that it leaves you speechless, with an overwhelming joy and happiness. God is real and Jesus is our shepherd, the keeper of God's people. Find your peace and home in Him.
Thank you Father for Jesus. Thank you Jesus for Your love and patience. Thank You for our home with You. 😊

John chapter 12 verse 16.
"His disciples didn't realize at the time that this was the fulfillment of prophecy; but after Jesus returned to His glory in heaven, then they noticed how many prophecies of Scripture had come true before their eyes."

2 Corinthians chapter 4 verses 7-10.
"But this precious treasure---this Light and power that now shine within us---is held in a perishable container, that is, in our weak bodies. Everyone can see that the glorious power within must be from God and is not his own. We are pressed on every side by troubles, but not crushed and broken. We are perplexed because we do not know why things happen as they do, but you do not give up and quit. We are hunted down, but God never abandons us. We are knocked down, but we get up again and keep going. These bodies of ours are constantly facing death just as Jesus did; so it is clear to all that it is only the living Christ within {who keeps us safe}."

Ephesians chapter 3 verses 17 and 19.
"May your roots go down deep into the soil of God's marvelous love; and may you be able to feel and understand, as all God's children should, how long, how wide, how deep and how high His love really is; and to experience this love for yourselves, though it is so great that you will never see the end of it or fully know or understand it. And so at last you will be filled up with God Himself."
