His name is Jesus.

2 Corinthians chapter 9 verse 15.
"Thank God for His Son---His gift too wonderful for words."

No matter how good you think you have it, temptation is there showing you something better, something you do not have. It is the same when things are taken away from us. People are possessive about what they own and if they do not have them then the long to have them back.
It is so hard to admit that all of everything is a gift from God. You have worked so hard to accumulate the stuff you have, so how can you say it is a gift from God? It was by my own hard work that I was able to get the money I needed to get the stuff I have and to maintain the life I live.
Think of a place where you want to be and there is no other place that you would care to be. Maybe that concert or the cottage or a family gathering or that long awaited trip or maybe you once were at a Billy Graham gathering.
You get the idea though. It is a place that has your full interest and nothing could take you away from it. Or is there? You are standing there and along comes someone who suggests to you something that intrigues you. Some people brush off the idea of leaving and some think why not just go for a moment. So you slip out the back way and maybe you enjoy yourself. Maybe it lasts a short time or maybe you get caught up and forget about where you were.
Then you hear others talking about what they experienced and oh! how you wish you had not left. You try to justify your decisions but you are feeling sad about having missed out. Next time you won't sneak out the back. Next time you are not going to miss the excitement.
So why do you keep brushing off Jesus? You hear others talking about how wonderful He is and yet you keep choosing to look the other way. It is your decision as too whether or not you listen. No one is forcing you. Maybe it is commitment that you are afraid of. You like the idea of running your own life the way you like too. Yet, you are still filled with questions as to why things happen as they do.
You are easily angered and frustrated with how you are treated and how others are treated. Life is going by so quickly and you have a good life, with lots of stuff and yet you want more. You keep looking and you keep missing out.
Jesus is the answer. All you have to do is let your guard down and turn to Him, asking for His love to come into your life. As you seek Him, You will find out how much God really does love you and how happy He is that you have come to Him. There will be no more distractions. You are where you want to be.
You will begin to understand who Jesus is and why He is so important to your life. Jesus is God, who through His amazing love for people has made it possible to have a life with Him now and forever. Jesus talked to people about God and He did all that God had planned for Him in His short time on earth. Then Jesus returned to heaven where He awaits the time when all people who are filled with the love for God will come home to Him.
Jesus is God's plan for making a life with Him available to all who seek a new a different life filled with peace and contentment. Do you remember that most amazing place that we talked about before? You have arrived and you know it. It is a totally new and different life where all makes sense and you know that God is always with you.
Thank you Father for Jesus. Thank you for the best never ending place that everyone is welcome to be in. 😊

Genesis chapter 2 verse 15.

1 John chapter 2 verses 1 and 2.
"His name is Jesus Christ, the one who is all that is good and who pleases God completely. He is the one who took God's wrath against our sins upon Himself, and brought us into fellowship with God; and He is the forgiveness for our sins, and not only ours but all the world's."

1 John chapter 5 verse 8.
"So we have these three witnesses: the voice of the Holy Spirit in our hearts, the voice from heaven at Christ's baptism, and the voice before He died. And they all say the same thing: that Jesus Christ is the Son of God."
