Understanding!

Psalms chapter 107 verses 6-9.
"Lord help!" they cried, and He did! He led them straight to safety and a place to live. Oh, that these men would praise the Lord for His loving-kindness, and for all of His wonderful deeds! For He satisfies the thirsty soul and fills the hungry soul with good.

How long must we go before we can take no more?
The failures and trials of life have built up so much that all you are is living from day to day with no reason for happiness. Even the simplest of things such as wanting to be loved, can be a never ending weight upon us. People drag around the craziest of thoughts, that have such a hold on their joy.
Humans cannot help issues from consuming their every moment. It is the life that we have built and have become accustomed to. There are struggles and mounting health problems. There are loved ones dying leaving us alone. There are financial issues and no one to share life with.
There are so many things that fill our thoughts, leaving us wondering what is all this about? Am I to be drunk my whole life, blotting out my issues? Am I to be continually sad and disheartened? Where is this almighty God who can save us from our issues?
God has not gone anywhere. He is right here. He hears our cries and feels sad that we have not trusted in Him. Jesus is right here available for all to come to. So, why are you questioning God? You are expecting Him to help you and to do all theses amazing things, so that your life is perfect. So that you have a purpose and meaning as to why you are here and somewhere to turn in your troubles.
When is the last time you turned to God and thanked Him for the beautiful sunrise or the most restful sleep that you needed? The point is, God wants your thanksgiving and your praises for His provision. He wants to love you as His child. He wants you to be happy and content. That is why Jesus came, so that we could know Him and through Him find our way to life with God.
The best example that can be given is the example of the lost lamb. Imagine the flock of sheep in a field, is the family of God. They are those who live with Him and trust in Him to care for them. Jesus tells us that if one of those sheep gets separated and lost from the flock that He will leave the others and go find the one who is lost and bring them home, where they will feel protected and safe.
That is what your life is like. God calls us His children and we are to belong to His family. He does not care about our mistakes, He cares about the fact that we are lost from Him and how He longs for us to be home in His house, where we feel content and happy. All you need to do is call out and let Him hear your voice. It does not have to be a shout, it does not have to be publicly announced. It can be a simple whisper, where you are genuinely focused on seeking Him. That is all it takes.
You have been alone for so long. You do not have to be that way. He wants all of your focus, every moment of every day spent thinking and loving Him. Not just when you need Him. That is why it is called family. His family, and you belong long there.
He can do all that He promises and He is there with you in times of trouble and heartache. Talk to Him as you would to those you love and feel comfortable with. Your life is meant to be at peace and have direction. Trust in God, your heavenly Father, who does love and care about you.
Thank you Father for Jesus and the firm ground on which we can come and be safe in Your family. 😊
