Troubles?

2 Corinthians chapter 5 verse 7.
"We know these things are true by believing, not by seeing."

Don't you just feel like giving up sometimes? Have you ever got so fed up that you feel like your only option is to throw in the towel and let things happen as they are going too? Tired of arguing and never getting anywhere? Are you happy?
In Mark chapter 12 Jesus tells of watching as a person come along and give their last two pennies to the offering. The act was intentional. They knew exactly what they were doing and where their hard earned money was going. Their joy was in being thankful to God.
Frustration is the result of our trying over and over again to have the answers to every problem that arises. Experience helps us have some guidance but it does not always have the right answers, for our challenges are constantly changing. We also learn from others when they have the right answers. The internet has made it possible to find the answers to just about anything we may question.
Challenging our minds is a good thing, because it helps keep us prepared and at peace. Even with the help that we seek, we still find ourselves struggling with understanding. The question "why" is always attached and most of the time we need to trust that the knowledge that we are given is the right direction we need.
Doubt and fear of failure can mislead us in our efforts to accomplish our goals. It is comforting when we have the answers to our challenges. It builds our confidence and others see us as a resource to look to. However there will always be challenges that we do not have the answers for. Others may, and we need to accept that we can learn from them.
Trust is earned and comes from believing that you are in the right place, where you feel protected and at peace. That is the connection God wants you to have with Him through His Son, Jesus. God knows we fail because of doubt and fear. So He sent Jesus as our connection to "forever forgiveness." Just as a child follows closely behind their parent, knowing they are protected and in the right place, so too, you are to keep your eyes upon Jesus as He leads you in the paths of God. Your focus is on Him, seeking Him and trusting in Him to direct you properly.
There are lots of times when we question the statements that others make. It is good to question for it confirms the doubts we may have. God says we are to question and our confirmation comes from knowing that we are seeking the answers through Jesus. Truly believing that God will provide and that Jesus is our Savior.
We are humans in a human world surrounded by temptations, desires, and troubles that seem beyond our ability to solve. Life with God separates us from the worlds issues, so that it is our love for God that fills us with a constant joy. It may be hard to fathom when troubles are so present around us, but by keeping your eyes on Jesus, you will prevail. Just as He did!
Thank you Father for Jesus. Thank you for the peace that comes from resting in your arms. Bring all your concerns to Him and you will find an overwhelming peace and comfort that will bring unbelievable joy and thanksgiving to your heart. 😊

Psalms chapter 46 verses 1-4.
"God is our refuge and strength, a tested help in times of trouble. And so we need not fear even if the world blows up, and the mountains crumble into the sea. Let the oceans roar and foam; let the mountains tremble! There is a river of joy flowing through the City of our God---the sacred home of God."

John chapter 16 verse 33.
Jesus replied; "I have told you all this so that you will have peace of heart and mind. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows; but cheer up, for I have overcome the world."

1 Timothy chapter 6 verse 6-12.
"Do you want to be truly rich? You already are if you are happy and good. After all, we did not bring any money into the world, and we cannot carry away a single penny when we die. So we should be well satisfied without money if we have enough food and clothing. But people who long to be rich soon begin to do all kinds of wrong things to get money, things that hurt them and make them evil minded and finally send them to hell itself. For the love of money is the first step towards all kinds of sin. Some people have even turned away from God because of their love for it, and as a result have pierced themselves with many sorrows.
Oh, Timothy, you are God's man. Run from all theses evil things and work instead at what is right and good, learning to trust Him and love others, and to be patient and gentle. Fight on for God."
