Our path.

Hebrews chapter 1 verses 1 and 2.
"Long ago God spoke in many different ways to our fathers through the prophets (in visions, dreams and even face to face) telling them little by little about His plans. But now in these days He has spoken to us through His Son to whom He has given everything, and through whom He made the world and everything there is."

We live and breath each day in a world that we know has come from somewhere. Maybe it was science, maybe it was made by man. All around us are things we use and live with that are just there. And if we need something then in most cases we can look it up on the internet and order it.
Is the way that people lived so long ago much different than today? There is still the want to have stuff. There is always worry about having enough. We know that as each day passes our bodies are aging. We know that death does happen and we talk about those who were here. So, what are we to do? What is expected of us in the short time we have here?
God has wanted people to know that everything has come from Him and that includes us. God wants all people everywhere to trust in Him and believe that He will provide all our needs. With God we are free to live peacefully and as examples to others of trusting in God. We are to belong to His family where He can watch over us and take care of us.
The bible is where we can find God's word and direction. It is where we learn about the stubbornness of people and how they are never pleased or content. It is where we learn of God's love for people and who Jesus is. It is where people can find answers to their worries and anxieties. It is by believing in Jesus that we are lifted up and put back on our feet. It is where we learn that we are not to live without God and His guidance.
It is where we learn to follow Jesus and to not take a step without holding closely to Him. No matter where your life has taken you, God wants you to know that through Jesus you can see the world that He created for us to enjoy. We can see that every moment of our lives are to be lived in thanksgiving and praise to Him.
Joy and peace can be forever by living in the presence of Jesus and knowing God as our Father. It is God's word that will keep you safe and away from harm. It is living in His presence that will keep you content and happy. We are here only for a short time, if we are constantly trying hard to find answers to why our lives are the way they are, then we will be forever bogged down with seeking peace. And in most case never finding it but causing great stress and unhealthy living.
So, you make the choice! I wish I could tell you that life will be simple and free from grief, but that would be false. God has given us the answer in His Son Jesus. Life with Him is a life of peace, where you will never want to leave. Work hard to hold closely to Jesus and God's word. Trust in God and He will give you an overwhelming joy for living.
Thank you Father for Jesus. Thank you for Your Light that helps us see, know and understand our place with You. 😊

2 Peter chapter 1 verses 19-21.
"You will do well to pay close attention to everything the prophets have written, for like lights shining into dark corners, their words help us to understand many things that otherwise would be dark and difficult. But when you consider the wonderful truth of the prophet's words, then the light will dawn in your souls and Christ the Morning Star will shine in your hearts. "

Romans chapter 12 verses 1-3.
"Give your bodies to God. Let them be a living sacrifice, holy---the kind He can accept. When you think of what He has done for you, is this too much to ask? Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but be a new and different person with a fresh newness in all you do and think. Then you will learn from your own experience how His ways will really satisfy you."

Luke chapter 12 verses 29-31.
"Don't worry about food---what to eat and drink; don't worry at all that God will provide it for you. All mankind scratches for it's daily bread, but your heavenly Father knows your needs. He will always give you all you need from day to day if you will make the Kingdom of God your primary concern."
