Peace is found in Jesus.

Colossians chapter 4 verses 6 and 6.
Make the most of your chances to tell others the Good News. Be wise in all your contacts with them. Let your conversation be gracious as well as sensible, for then you will have the right answer for everyone.

Have you heard the fable story about the tortoise and the hare. The hare is quick on his feet and so anxious to win the race. The turtle is slow moving and often stops to smell the flowers and talk to the local wildlife. The hare runs and quickly covers much ground. He is so far ahead that he thinks 'I can stop for a moment and rest.' Well he falls asleep and misses seeing the turtle pass him. When he awakes he sees the turtle and no matter how hard he tries, he fails in beating him.
Our lives can be like the hare. Quick moving, always afraid of not having enough and forever struggling to have peace. It must be our fear of aging. The days are going by and we want so bad to be satisfied in justifying why we are here. Maybe if we have the best of everything and make things happen as we want them to, then we can say it was a good life and I did this and that.
The problem is we are never settled. There will always be something missing. "Move quick for if we do not get it now, it will not be there later." Have you ever really thought about that statement. It is used over and over again to justify our reasoning for not missing out. No matter how much stuff we accumulate or how many trips we take, we are still aging and cannot enjoy real peace until we see that what we already have is the most amazing gift of all.
You are alive. You are someone who has the choice to be happy or unsettled. Why live on the edge, always one step away from falling over. Why not enjoy all the wonderful world, that is your life, as it is. God has always wanted you to see that. He wants you to enjoy what He has given to us. It is your thankfulness to Him that fills your heart with an overwhelming joy. When you walk in the light of Jesus you will know His peace.
The only way to obtain that peace is by putting God first in your life. He is your heavenly Father who watches over you all the time. You are never alone, He is always with you. Trust is earned and hard to maintain. There is so much temptation and our own will to have what we want. By reading the bible and talking with God, you will be prepared, as you trust in Him. He is your strength and help in all of everyday life.
He will guide your thoughts. He will give you the right words to help others. He will give you joy as you see His touch in all you do. He will bless you with the love for life and the love of others.
Thank you Father for Jesus and keeping us away from living in fear and on the edge of failure. 😊

"But" God says, "I was very angry with them, for their hearts were always looking somewhere else instead of up to Me, and they never found the paths I wanted them to follow."
