God's gift.

2 Timothy chapter 1 verse 7.
"For the Holy Spirit, God's gift, does not want you to be afraid of people, but to be wise and strong and to love them and enjoy being with them."

Are you frustrated and tired from battling the mounting troubles? The long cold days of winter do not help. The bills from Christmas are coming in and you are feeling low. Projects do not seem to be as fun as you thought they would be and you long for change.
Being content is not easy when you are letting your thoughts dig you deeper into debt, looking for something. Our dreams seem to get further and further away, making us frustrated and sad. So, what is needed to save us from never ending downfall? The answer lies in Jesus and trusting in Him.
Peace is huge. If your heart is at peace than everything around you will be at peace. Others will be happy and you will be content with the paths you walk. God hears and knows your frustrations and it is Him, you are thankful to, for calming the storms of your life. You do not lose sight of Him because He is the one who is keeping you safe and can fill your heart with a gentle quiet Spirit.
That is what makes us different from others. The gift of God, is Jesus and our Salvation. Our troubles may seem overwhelming and our emotions are not allowing us to see clearly, but what God has done for us is far greater than the troubles we create. It is your love for God that will prevail and keep you humble.
You see, it is God guiding us to learn, it is God who is clearing away the clouds and showing us that others are there also. It is God pointing us to Jesus and it is Jesus who takes our hand and guides us in the direction of righteousness. Jesus helps us listen and gives us the sense to be wise, loving and kind. It is His Holy Spirit who fills our hearts with thanksgiving and joy.
Are you going to be brought down, left in sadness without joy? Or are you going to take the bull by the horns and start enjoying what you have been blessed with? It may be frustrating and challenging if you have over spent and you are struggling to meeting your goals. But, God has blessed you with knowing Jesus. He has brought you back to life and has given you new opportunities. Look around, past the fog and haze of your sadness and see the Light of Jesus.
You get to talk about Him and sing songs of praise to Him. Others around you love your joy and see happiness, thinking man that person has it all together. Yet, your troubles may be no different than anyone else's, all you have done is except the gift of God. These sufferings that prick and prod at you are meant to strengthen you. Be patient and look for the good things that you can do, with what you have around you. Enjoy Jesus and the life you have. You are no longer held down by addictions and the temptations of the world. You are God's joy brought to Him by His Son.
Thank You Father for Jesus and the joy of trusting in You. You fill the heart with thanksgiving.😊
