The first thing

Isaiah chapter 7 verses 12-15.
But the King refused. "No," he said, "I'll not bother the Lord with anything like that." Then Isaiah said, O House of David, you are not satisfied to exhaust my patience; you exhaust the Lord's as well! All right then, the Lord Himself will choose the sign---a child will be born to a virgin! And she shall call Him Immanuel (meaning, "God is with us.")

Have you ever looked back at what you were doing and realized that the thought you just had should have been what you should have done in the first place? Actually it happens more times then we wish to admit. Pride gets in our way and so we overlook the mistakes that have been made and make the proper corrections.
24 hours a day we have to make decisions and are all our decisions followed through with the right and proper direction? It would be nice if they were but it does not happen that way. Mistakes get made and sometimes we have to pay the price. That means it can be costly financially or with relationships.
So, what are we to do when our troubles out weigh the peace in our lives? You know, when anger and frustration build to the point of sadness and feeling alone. Even God got to the point where He knew that people were not looking to Him for protection and guidance, that people were not trusting that He would direct them with the right answers. So, God through Jesus, took all of our troubles, our worries and our anxieties and forever forgave them.
What? That was over 2000 years ago, how will Jesus help me today? The answers lies in faith and believing that God is with you. That what happened so many years ago still applies to us today and will forever apply to all humans. To receive God's promises all you have to do is pray, believing that God is hearing you and that He wants to see you live everyday, trusting in Him, to care for you.
Trusting in Him is hard to do when you are living high on the hog, enjoying travel, plenty of food and not worrying about money. You have a good job and you can have what you want, when you want it, so why trust in someone else when you can do it on your own? The thing is, emotions and troubles do not go away. They are just different from someone else's issues.
It is when our troubles build up around us. Arguments and addictions and our need to control the way life goes, that we break down and if we are fortunate enough to have heard about God, then a simple prayer can change everything.
Start off the new year knowing that you are not alone to deal with the troubles of your life. There is freedom and love to be found in Jesus. An everlasting joy that will be with you everyday, every moment forever. Grab hold of Jesus and let God walk with you. Read the bible daily, never go a moment with out talking to Him. Trust in Him for all things and you will be thankful.
Thank you Father for Jesus and everlasting joy! 😊

1 Timothy chapter 2 verse 8.
"So, men and women everywhere should pray with holy hands lifted up to God, free from sin and anger and resentment."

Matthew chapter 1 verses 22 and 23.
This will fulfill God's message through His prophets--- "Listen! The virgin shall conceive a child! She shall give birth to a Son, and He shall be called Emmanuel (meaning "God is with us")

Romans chapter 8 verses 1 and 2.
"So there is no condemnation awaiting those who belong to Christ Jesus. For the power of the
life-giving Spirit---and this power is our's through Christ Jesus---has freed us from the vicious circle of sin and death."
