Lean on Jesus.

Proverbs chapter 3 verses 5 and 6.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all you do acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths."

Are you able to trust that much in someone? To totally believe that in all you do; they will give you the needed direction that will help you be successful and safe.
It is very hard to do. Especially if the only one you trust, is yourself. Up to now the decisions you have made have not been so bad. Mistakes have been made and each time you climb back, hopefully learning not to perform the same mistake again.
No matter who you are, your guard is always up, making sure that you are safe and that you will benefit something from what you are going to do. For example the job you are interested in applying for. You understand what it is they are asking you to do. You may not fully know all the details, but you have a general idea and are willing to learn. You are trusting them and you are are hoping you will give your best so that they are pleased with your work. Now you will make a wage and be able to provide the necessities needed to survive.
It would be great if that were true. Sometimes it feels like all is going ok, until something happens and attitudes lead to unnecessary words being spoken. Now we are back to protecting our own interests and our own survival. Life can be a vicious game where people can get hurt and lives can be affected. Bitterness can make a person unwanted and alone.
As a young person it is hard to understand how the experiences of life are going to affect you. As we age it is the experiences that we have encountered that can build up, to the point where a person can become overwhelmed and feeling helpless. When you get feeling that way then you lose your joy and everyone knows it.
Jesus wants all of us to know that God is offering a life of peace and contentment to all who come to Him. Jesus trusted God and wants you to trust in Him also. By getting to know Jesus, you will know God's love for you. And it is that love He has for you that will take you away from the worries and anxieties, the addictions and failures. Your focus will be on His guidance instead of what burdens you.
You will love the joy of being healed and the amazing miracles that God brings to your life. Your happiness will fill your heart with song and praise to Jesus and to God. Even with all your new found happiness, you will still see that the troubles have not gone away. There are still attitudes and bitterness from others and maybe yourself. And that is when you really see God go to work. You have made the decision, based on your experience with God's amazing power to heal you, to trust in Him in your times of need. Jesus did and He is telling you that you need to do the same.
That is when you really know and understand that you belong to His family. You are not alone and His promise to walk with you is not just short term but for life. So, never forget where you once were and who it was that lifted you from darkness. Even when there is the loss of a loved one or troubles are crashing in around you, He has not gone anywhere. God is standing right beside you, He hears your cries and see's your tears. He knows your love for Him and sends you the comfort you need.
Belonging to His family is knowing the He is always with you. Through thick and thin, always loving and caring for you. And it is through your contentment and peace for life that Jesus can be shared with others. You are sharing the same promises that you longed for and found in Jesus.
Thank you Father for Jesus and the wonderful joy of trusting You. 😊

2 Corinthians chapter 12 verses 9 and 10.
And each time God said, "No. But I am with you; that is all you need. My power shows up best in weak people." Now I am glad to boast about how weak I am; I am glad to be a living demonstration of Christ's power, instead of showing off my own power and abilities. Since I know it is all for Christ's good, I am quite happy about "the thorn," and about the insults and hardships, persecutions and difficulties; for when I am weak, I am strong---the less I have, the more I depend on Him.

1 John chapter 3 verse 9.
"The person who has been born into God's family does not make a practice of sinning, because now God's life is in him, so he can't keep on sinning, for this new life has been born into him and controls him---he has been born again."

Deuteronomy chapter 8 verse 3.
"Yes, He humbled you by letting you go hungry and then feeding you with manna, a food previously unknown to both you and your ancestors. He did it to help you realize that food isn't everything, and that real life comes by obeying every commandment of God."
